Has Anyone Been To Reykjavik?
First topic message reminder :
Am thinking of going in February for 3 or 4 nights, anyone got any advice about hotels, places to visit etc? Have had a virtual drive-round on google maps and it looks like a giant suburb.

I'm honoured. I felt too 'out there' using an M&S bag on the one occasion...not sure how these man bag types can sleep at night.Mind the windows Tino. wrote:At last. I knew you wouldn't, pal. You can go to second on the all important TBP (Tino's Bestest Posters) list. Can't have you top as that would be silly but you can slip in under Fists if you'll pardon the expression.seanmichaels wrote:I don't have a man bag.Mind the windows Tino. wrote:Oh God.Il Gialloblu wrote:I carry a USB stick with me. Will I go any higher if I point out that I don't really dress like Ray Mears as I don't own any green or khaki jackets or trousers? And when I see someone building a shelter I like to kick it over, a technique know as "Wingroving" where I come from.

No because I flat out don't believe you on the khaki trousers front. And you're quite rude to me occasionally.Galted wrote:Will I go any higher if I point out that I don't really dress like Ray Mears as I don't own any green or khaki jackets or trousers?

No tino, I don't have one. My lunch sits on the passenger seat of my car in a Morrisons bag on the 5 minute drive to work. Yeah actually, that was pretty funny.
Depends if you took your m*n-bag with you when you went to collect the camera.

Re: Has Anyone Been To Reykjavik?
Revelation #1 - when not buying burritos I do my lunch shopping at M&S as well as my potato, salad and camembert shopping. I resent having to fork over 5p for a new bag and so use the same one which, after a while, becomes faded, torn, and stinks to high heaven. One of the louder cashiers has taken to shouting at me when my bag has fallen below the standard acceptable to her and gives me a new one for free. I estimate that, so far this year, I've saved about 15p.Mind the windows Tino. wrote:Nice Womble, nice.

I would have moved you up a level Galted if you hadn't completely arsed up the quote function on that post.

You would have been very high following your excellent post t'other week but the fact you have a mustard coloured m*n-bag automatically disqualifies you.
