Potato, salad and Camembert. Can you elaborate?
I've recently conducted a series of jacket potato experiments and discovered that the perfect jacket potato requires 10 minutes microwaving, 10 minutes oven cooking, insides scooped out, camembert inserted, insides replaced, 5 more minutes oven cooking then served with a healthy dose of foliage and olives.

It is marked clearly by the manufacturer. If I ever go for a brisk walk in the north I shall be sure to carry my belongings in an unmarked Hessian sack.

Sounds alright does that. Bit of a woman's meal but alright nonetheless.

I didn't bring in lunch today. I went to the staff canteen.

I chose steak and kidney pie but it didn't have a single piece of kidney in it. It was just a steak pie and not a very good one at that. I had carrots, peas, new potatoes and some gravy.

Skipped pudding as I have a Tunnocks teacake on my desk which I am about to eat. I have a lovely black coffee on the go as well.

Kidney's belong in your body as a functioning organ and do not belong in a pie.

I went out to get some lunch because the fridge was empty. I came back with 5 sausages from the butcher for dinner and 8 cans of Carlsberg Export. I figured getting a cold/flu is down to not drinking the week so if I cut out the food and posion the virus with alcohol I may feel a bit better.

Well the canteen shouldn't advertise it as steak and kidney pie then. It upset me and I am already quite saddened by the whole m*n-bag episode of the last couple of days.

What about liver? I have liver and bacon in sandwiches sometimes.

Its normally alright in there. The carrots and gravy were delicious. Just no kidney.

I don't mean to add to your grief Tino, I know you must be feeling quite saddened by man-baggate but I can't get on with kidney's, liver or any kind of offal. It makes me want to vomit .

Me and Mrs Womble enjoy watching the Aussie version of Masterchef and only yesterday they were cooking with brains. Brains?? Why would anyone want to eat the internal organs of anything!

If you like liver then not far away, just off Trafalgar Square, there's a wonderful brasserie called Les Deux Salons that does a wonderful calves liver accompanied by possibly the best bacon I've ever eaten!

We have a lovely one of those called Tajima-Tei near us. Its great as you can eat sh*tloads but you don't feel stuffed afterwards.

Did you bring a doggy bag home in your m*n-bag?

No Tina, the man bag stayed at the office. It was all a bit southern for me to be honest. I have no problem with foreign food but surely Chinese and Indian food represents enough choice for anyone.

Steak Pie? Brasseries? Japanese? All this makes my cheese sandwich and beef flavoured hula hoops seem pretty sh*t now.

How can you possibly write that sentence with any seriousness given the last couple of days.

Technically it was still a steak and kidney pie.

I love beef hula hoops.

You need to move on Tina. A man bag is just a practical choice under difficult circumstances.

Rowley, have you been to Cosmo's in Doncaster yet? It's basically a posh all you can eat that has loads of Chinese, Indian and Japanese food. Friday and Saturday night, £15 all you can eat. Through the week, £12 I think.

Pretty low ranking as a crisp, in my opinion. Certainly behind 1, if not 2, monster munch flavours, behind Sensations sweet chilli, mccoys steak, mccoys s&v, tyrells veg crisps and even the ready salted Pringle tbh.

Laugh  You mean Doncaster itself isn't enough to make you want to visit it's outstanding sights and cultured town-folk?
