Realistic Premier League
First topic message reminder :
Please be aware that this week's fixture are as follows:
Stoke City v West Bromwich
Sunderland v Norwich
Aston Villa v Fulham
Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace
West Ham Utd v Cardiff City
Please PM Hero the following (if you are playing myself then PM Nando) before the end of Friday:
1. A easy to read team sheet eg:
2. A list of 7 substitutes eg: Lindegaard, Fabio, Jones, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley.
3. A list of 3 injuries (not applicable in week 1) eg: Giggs, Smalling, Valencia
4. Clear tactics in a bullet point format, we advise a minimum of five lines and a maximum of ten eg:
GK - Be vocal, communicate with your defensive line at all times, instruct them at set pieces and look to catch the ball rather than punch it, look to release early onto the flanks for counter attacks.
FBs - Keep any wingers on the outside, stay on your feet and block crosses, come forward down the flank when available
CBs - Man mark the strikers, keep goal side and time tackles
CMs - Look to pressurise early, spread the ball across the pitch and dictate the pace of the game
WGs - Work with our FBs to double up down the flanks and whip balls into the box, mix it up by coming inside and dribbling into the box, look to go down easy.
SS - Play between the midfield and the main striker, link up play, hang just outside the box when there's period of pressure and look for loose balls
ST - Hang on the shoulder of the deepest CB and look to drag them out of position, anticipate the ball and look to burst into the box for crosses or one-twos.
These shall then be posted on the board and results will be posted on Monday.

Re: Realistic Premier League
Newcastle 2-1 Cardiff
West Ham 0-1 West Brom
(Young)
Think Z3 gets his tactics spot on with a deep line and close markers to Defoe nullifying his speed and I can't see the Hammers scoring as a result. I can see Young on his debut getting the winner.
Crystal Palace 2-0 Aston Villa
(Rhodes, Lee)
Fulham 2-1 Sunderland
(Berbatov, Dzsudzsak - Borini)
Hard one to call, Fulham have the quality but with Berbatov in the hole and Ade ahead it's leaving a lot of work for the two central players and Sunderland are allowed time to settle on the ball in their half. I'm edging it for the quality to shine through though.
Norwich 3-4 Stoke
(Redmond, Fer, Sterling - Finnbogason x 2, Guidetti, Arnatovic)
Game of the week for me with both sides playing exciting attacking players, can see it being end to end, back and forth and with a cup tie feel to it. The strike force up front for Stoke just edges it for me.

Yes...and no.
You would have got the victory but I also felt you dominated possession in the midfield battle which gave you the points.

Re: Realistic Premier League
Guys I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm going to have to step down from Sunderland, with WWA, 6CW and 6WF I have too many things that take up too much of my life...when you spend a lot of your free time on a website, that's not a good sign...I'm really sorry and I hope you can find someone to take over.
I think it was clear I didn't really have a clue what I was doing and ultimately my lack of footballer knowledge showed through. Once again, sorry to do this but good luck in replacing me with someone who will clearly be better than me. Cheers.

Re: Realistic Premier League
YI seems to have just completely gone.
Trebs wants to leave, whether he can remain at Cardiff for a few weeks whilst we sort this out im sure that will be great.
Also are we having a christmas break?

Re: Realistic Premier League
Hopefully during this break. We can find a new Sunderland and Villa manager. Hopefully trebs can remain with Cardiff whilst we sort those positions out.

I want out but I will continue to hand in tactics until a new manager is found. I'm not going to be active in the transfer market though, unless someone approaches me looking for deals but i won't go out of my way.

I don't have the time anymore to be honest. I'm going to finish off this season in the other league and win that, then I'm done with the whole thing for the foreseeable future.
