Realistic Premier League
First topic message reminder :
Please be aware that this week's fixture are as follows:
Stoke City v West Bromwich
Sunderland v Norwich
Aston Villa v Fulham
Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace
West Ham Utd v Cardiff City
Please PM Hero the following (if you are playing myself then PM Nando) before the end of Friday:
1. A easy to read team sheet eg:
2. A list of 7 substitutes eg: Lindegaard, Fabio, Jones, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley.
3. A list of 3 injuries (not applicable in week 1) eg: Giggs, Smalling, Valencia
4. Clear tactics in a bullet point format, we advise a minimum of five lines and a maximum of ten eg:
GK - Be vocal, communicate with your defensive line at all times, instruct them at set pieces and look to catch the ball rather than punch it, look to release early onto the flanks for counter attacks.
FBs - Keep any wingers on the outside, stay on your feet and block crosses, come forward down the flank when available
CBs - Man mark the strikers, keep goal side and time tackles
CMs - Look to pressurise early, spread the ball across the pitch and dictate the pace of the game
WGs - Work with our FBs to double up down the flanks and whip balls into the box, mix it up by coming inside and dribbling into the box, look to go down easy.
SS - Play between the midfield and the main striker, link up play, hang just outside the box when there's period of pressure and look for loose balls
ST - Hang on the shoulder of the deepest CB and look to drag them out of position, anticipate the ball and look to burst into the box for crosses or one-twos.
These shall then be posted on the board and results will be posted on Monday.

Re: Realistic Premier League
The good news is, the family business puts food on the table (obviously). It's not a Café where we live upstairs either, we do live a few streets down from there. But it's a nice little place and we get plenty of visitors a day, especially at lunch and early in the morning for coffee's, tea etc. It's a nice place. Serve from cakes, to Fish & Chips, to, well anything you can think of in a café, you've got it.
Do you? Sounds good. I don't know a lot about either job myself. How long you been doing that for? I'd expect you to be in your 30's/40's really if you are a GP?

Re: Realistic Premier League
Ah right. That changes the whole picture. So how did you turn out to be a Sports Journalist then? Surely you can't just become a trainee GP, then a Sports Journalist for any length on time and then going back to be a trainee GP again? I'm sure there is a way around it, but, I didn't think it was possible as a trainee? Unless you go somewhere different? I'm not 100% myself. Not sure on anything to do with Journalism or GP's.

Re: Realistic Premier League
Ok then.
Nice to meet you anyway. Anyone know if there are any alternative sites like this? Doesn't look like this league has any vacancies and I do seem slightly interested at the moment, is there any other place I could look for a place in a league?

Re: Realistic Premier League
If this is what you say all the time, this league will never get anywhere. If you accuse every new member like this, the league will never get anywhere.
But yeah thanks for the introduction All hail Lubo. But I'll check it out sometime today and I might sign up.
Sorry NickisBHAFC.
