Realistic Premier League
First topic message reminder :
Please be aware that this week's fixture are as follows:
Stoke City v West Bromwich
Sunderland v Norwich
Aston Villa v Fulham
Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace
West Ham Utd v Cardiff City
Please PM Hero the following (if you are playing myself then PM Nando) before the end of Friday:
1. A easy to read team sheet eg:
2. A list of 7 substitutes eg: Lindegaard, Fabio, Jones, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley.
3. A list of 3 injuries (not applicable in week 1) eg: Giggs, Smalling, Valencia
4. Clear tactics in a bullet point format, we advise a minimum of five lines and a maximum of ten eg:
GK - Be vocal, communicate with your defensive line at all times, instruct them at set pieces and look to catch the ball rather than punch it, look to release early onto the flanks for counter attacks.
FBs - Keep any wingers on the outside, stay on your feet and block crosses, come forward down the flank when available
CBs - Man mark the strikers, keep goal side and time tackles
CMs - Look to pressurise early, spread the ball across the pitch and dictate the pace of the game
WGs - Work with our FBs to double up down the flanks and whip balls into the box, mix it up by coming inside and dribbling into the box, look to go down easy.
SS - Play between the midfield and the main striker, link up play, hang just outside the box when there's period of pressure and look for loose balls
ST - Hang on the shoulder of the deepest CB and look to drag them out of position, anticipate the ball and look to burst into the box for crosses or one-twos.
These shall then be posted on the board and results will be posted on Monday.

Re: Realistic Premier League
Yes we're badly needing new managers tbh. Can we get a rolecall of people still active so we know what the state of play is with everyone on how to move forward.

Shall we maybe think about getting CBK back, he could take one of the many vacant rolls.

I'll extend it until midnight tonight, after that 2-0 default wins to the opponent and we'll have re-evaluate the numbers possibly.

Re: Realistic Premier League
right what's going on with this league?
If it's staying then we may as well put up this week's results, and foreigns......
but if it's not staying, then can the runners at least people know, because it's just drifting with nothing happening, which is pointless..

Re: Realistic Premier League
Sorry guys about not handing in tactics
My suggestion would be to wait till the euro league season ends in a few weeks and see if you can combine the two leagues into something. See who is interested, make the rules and go from there.

Re: Realistic Premier League
I've just recently joined here and I've been browsing the site looking for something that is similar to the Football board that is currently active on here. Can anyone just give me an insight of this? Just run through the basics?

Re: Realistic Premier League
What? Is this what you say to all new members? Just tell them to go away and then say they are someone else? That's a little unfair, don't you think? If you always think that this is a duplicate account or someone else, then your never going to find anyone suited for these leagues. They intrigued me, so I thought I'd quickly ask what exactly they are. Now things are blown out of proportion by saying I'm someone else.

Re: Realistic Premier League
It's ok. I do suppose it is probably something you would say. Been looking through here and there seems to be a lot behind this whole LRF thing, so I can understand, slightly.
I don't really support anyone if I'm honest. I've followed a couple of clubs and do go and watch my local Non-League team quite often. They are probably the team I support the most, but, this may sound very stupid, but I'm unsure of the true meaning of being a fan if I'm honest. I know. Stupid right? But, there are so many aspects I've read before I just don't what a true die-hard fan really is. So I keep it to a steady level.

Re: Realistic Premier League
No. Only went to College. When I finished School at 16, I went to College until I was 18 and then looked for a job. I'm now currently working as a Café chef, believe it or not. I'm in the culinary business and I work as a chef for a family business. It's nothing special but at 22, life isn't easy to get jobs. Considering getting a 2nd job just to help raise the funds a little bit and find a flat somewhere in the area. It's a tough life.
