Haha, yes there's always some classics on FB.
Saw one a few days ago calling for Johnson to be sacked & for Lineen to be made head coach immediately!
Then there's always classics like this

Visser not picked? Grrrrrrrrrr. Angry face
Mind you, a one legged Visser still has more pace than a fully functioning Shlong these days! Bless him
I remember the days when rugby fans/followers used to go to watch the rugby. These days it seems to be fasionable and all the randoms are rocking up!

I don't get along to as much Edinburgh games as I would like. By the time I factor in a train and a ticket it can be well over 30 quid.tigertattie wrote:Visser not picked? Grrrrrrrrrr. Angry face

It's pretty expensive.
The Oz game is my only trip in the AIs.

Re: Scotland v Australia, 23 November
I suppose in one way it is a good thing. more support for the sport???
My brother took his Mrs to the Japan game. Neither one of them knows the differance between a ruck and a maul. Between them they could probably only name 5 players who started.
Also: 1000th post! Woohoo! only 12000 more to go to catch a certain prolific poster on here

Good news
I have decided to still watch it and not allow my rage to colour my support
So two good news items
1 - I get to watch the game
2 - You get to hear me rant about it next week
Win win

"We had a few Nessies at breakdown last week - unconfirmed sightings." - Scott Johnson talking about the importance of the contact area. We might question his selections, but damn he's quality when it comes to press conferences.
Re: Scotland v Australia, 23 November
I'd much rather he was a good selecter and coach before he was a giggle at the press chats!

The Ford decision aside, can we really say he has made a lot of bad calls? Pummeling the Ozzies uprfront with a dose of abrasive ball carriers might work a treat.tigertattie wrote:I'd much rather he was a good selecter and coach before he was a giggle at the press chats!

7. SOB
8. Faleteu
Gatland did and thumped them 16-41 with the Lions. He could have picked Tipuric at 7 but chose not to.
SOB is apparently a 7 but IMO he was always a better number 8.
I'm going to reserve judgement on the selection untill after the match. It might not be as bonkers as we all think.
I know the last time we played we won the breakdown contest with Barcs at 7, but I didstinctly remember at the time we all thought Barcs at 8 was weird too.

Speaking of big scores V the Wallabies, having conducted extensive research, including logical theorems & computer simulations (I dug out and played rugby 08 again!) I have concluded that we'll win 47-10 tomorrow!

Edinburgh weren't actually that bad I thought, Ulster should have been down to 13 men for a double high tackle on Tonks but the ref chickened out, score would have been different if the ref had got it right. Atkins and Du Preez looked good as did Rennie when he came on.

Have you ordered the extra boxes of Lego yet, GLove?
Hopefully you'll have enough pieces to do an excellent job.
I've just realised...
It's been 500 years since the Coronation of King James V of Scotland. (x 6 days old = 3,000)
50 years since the first episode of Dr Who came onto our screens.
5 years since "Doomsday" was first released.
3,000 / 55 = 54.5454 and divide that by the magic "5"
= 10.9090
So I think the Wallabies will win by no less than 11.

Scott Johnson on Duncan Weir:
.He said: “I remember when I first saw him, I thought: ‘Who is this little fat kid playing at number 10?’
“Now I look at him physically and he has changed enormously. He has done really well and despite his looks he is a very good athlete

So I turn on the telly to watch the build up and it's just cars going round and round And it's not even the proper race. I thought that F1 had its own Sky channel?
Anyway, the proper sport is starting now...evening all and come on Scotland!
