First topic message reminder :
I wondered how things were going , I am pretty jealous as I'm waiting for Friday for my PS4.
The Kinnect apparently works well, how does BF4 feel to have 64 players online. Is Ryse a bit of a disappointment or are you enjoying it.
Dead Rising 3 how are you getting on with it? The videos with hundreds of zombies looked cool.
I read a test on sound levels and I think its quieter than the 360. If you had a PS3 is it quieter than that?

Re: Xbox One
I recently bought an XB1, for 3 main reasons
1. £250 with Arkham Knight seemed a good deal
2. EA Access seemed a great deal
3. Could play my library of 360 games

When is that backwards-compatability coming in? Fallout 3 would be great fun. I still have my XB1 in the loft.

Re: Xbox One
ESO was a major disappointment. Roaming and doing quests was great but the PVP area was 100% dominated by one faction and it was never addressed. I've not played it in two months now, only reached level 14/15 I think. The developers bit off more than they could chew.

Re: Xbox One
The single disappointment in ESO on XB1 was that Cyrodiil was 100% dominated by one faction. It's the only part of the game that didn't work, but it ruined it for me. I don't ever recall you mentioning this would be the case? It would have required astonishing clairvoyancy on your part seeing as the PC version had no such issues.GSC wrote:Azzy wrote:ESO was a major disappointment. Same as Azzy, got to level 14 and got a bit bored, with Skyrim and Oblivion there was a clear objective to the game whilst the side quests were just that things you did on the side. With ESO it felt like a game full of side quests with very little if any primary objective, with any game you need some direction as what to do.

Konami has ceased all triple-A console game production on everything but Pro Evolution Soccer and there are currently no plans for a big new Metal Gear game.
Well that's bad news

Re: Xbox One
Without Kojima Metal Gear is dead.
Unless its for their stupid Pachinko machines/some type of low budget mobile game with MGS branding slapped onto it expect to see nothing from the MGS brand.
Hopefully Konami aren't super stupid and decide to sell off their Triple A titles rather than letting them rot, I could see Sony wanting the MGS IP for example.
The thing with Konami is they want to make a quick buck rather than spend on a project which is one of the major reasons behind the Kojima/Konami fallout.
So what better way to make a quick buck than forking out the same game every year? In other words games like PES.

The fire demons that come out of the rift are a pain if you're a fire mage which I was first run through.
They've just released a new DLC for Dragon Age so I may reload it back on my xbox, I've completed it twice but it's still my fave game of many a year.

I hope with it they have a lot more of the tabletop Bloodbowl that I enjoyed, especially the DeathZone expansion that had the magic cards, dirty tricks and random events. Including the Star Players is a must too.

Re: Xbox One
I really struggled to get into Dragon Age, the lore is so detailed but it just doesn't pull me in. I think the gameplay is slightly lacking. I'll probably get back into it, but I do wish I'd bought Shadow of Mordor when I was deciding between the two.
Got Shadow of Mordor now anyway and it is fantastic, takes the best of Assassins' Creed, the most recent Batman games and adds the Nemesis system and Lord of the Rings on top. It's just a lot of fun.

nearly at the end of dragon age, just finished off the last of the high dragons and pretty much all other side quests, just got to main story to finsh and have to say that i have really enjoyed it. always been a fan though completed both the other two.
after this think i may have to give witcher a try
on a side note, anybody played the new pga game. always like the tiger woods games but this one is being panned every where, so may have to give it a miss

Of what I've played of FIFA16 I'm fine with it, I've downloaded the PES demo though last night so I'll give that a try to compare.
PES just always puts me off with the licences.

Re: Xbox One
Its just what i've read Hero but I would rather play both and compare but the demos are never the finished product so I wouldn't go by them, for me Fifa has really stalled in gameplay, they really just make little adjustments to the gameplay and focus more on FUT or putting your face on your player, I don't think il bother with any of them this time out.
The question is do I buy Bloodbowl today or not?

FIFA is surely a mug's game. Practically the same game every year, then you get the idiots that spend even more money on ultimate team only for it to be obsolete when the next FIFA comes out?

This is the first one I've bought since 13, the others I've waited until they were free with EA Access. I only bought this one for the v2 league on here else I wouldn't have bothered (and I don't ever bother with UT).

Just read some reviews of Bloodbowl and its getting pretty good marks
7.5 IGN
8/10 Gamerspot
Both the same marks the new Destiny has gotten and just below Fifa so I might take the gamble

Wasn't a personal jibe mate, just a general comment. Was chatting to a young fella at work who spent hundreds on a UT squad, it's ridiculous!

Knew it wasn't aimed at myself but yes the amounts some spend on it is just ridiculous. There's not an annual release game that I'd ever consider getting for each release.

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is the best cricket game ever made, without question. It has plenty of improvements to be made for future releases but as a first attempt, it's a monumental game and really brings back the spirit of Brian Lara Cricket.compelling and rich wrote:dissapointing, add to that the new rugby game is meant to be gash as well, seems like there isnt many sports games out there for europeans other than fifa

I played it this weekend and I thought it was excellent. When batting, you really have to build an innings, getting to 50 is a real hard slog!
