First topic message reminder :

I wondered how things were going , I am pretty jealous as I'm waiting for Friday for my PS4.

The Kinnect apparently works well, how does BF4 feel to have 64 players online. Is Ryse a bit of a disappointment or are you enjoying it.

Dead Rising 3 how are you getting on with it? The videos with hundreds of zombies looked cool.

I read a test on sound levels and I think its quieter than the 360. If you had a PS3 is it quieter than that?

LB is chip, and it's as difficult to score those as before, unless you have Lahm lobbing the keeper from 40 yards, which I also did last night. RB allows you to curl the ball around the keeper, I use that a lot.

Which button do you hold when a cross comes in and you do a special shot/attack I though it was LB?

Not sure, I never knew there was one. My overhead kick was a normal shoot button but with Lambert's back to goal.

I generally just mash in over-excitement whenever I get near goal. Feck knows which button does it.

I wish Career Mode would make searching for players easier. Like allowing you to filter out any player below a 70 rating.

Currently downloading Tomb Raider and World of Tanks, I really do like getting free games; both of which are meant to be superb so looks like they're really upping the ante with Games with Gold.

Just never been a Lara Croft fan, I downloaded the game and gave it a try but then quickly remembered how much I hate games where it's all about having to solve puzzles constantly to get to the next bit.

NHL 16 is one of the worst releases of the franchise ever made Nick - it's so bad it may have put me off playing NHL games completely now. Which is bizarre, as my love for the sport is greater now than at any point of my life and I'm up to my ears in fantasy leagues!

Yep, one of the October free games, think it's the one that they do from the middle of the month rather than the start though. Valiant Hearts is the other freebie for October.

Sweet will be getting that

Had tony hawks pre ordered for launch, could put up with the graphics issue but having seen the new footage of the gameplay today safe to say i wont be buying. They should just remake THPS4 for the next gen, that game was brilliant and so hard to put down

Got forza and fifa recently, the former is sweet. Rain and night races are a great addition

Slowly but surely the free games are getting much better; can't grumble with WoT, Tomb Raider and The Walking Dead in the space of two weeks, just need to find some time to play them all. It's a major plus point for Xbox Live now, means I can concentrate on only buying the real top games at launch and wait to see what happens with the rest.

Gaz, THPS2 was where it was at, I was obsessed with that and Matt Hoffman BMX way back when.

I'm playing as Chaos as they're the closest to Undead I've found, the Minotaur does my head in when he fails to attack, especially when he wastes my Blitz.
Most games I've played so far have been low scoring affairs but mainly due to me concentrating on injuring their entire team. I even drag the game into extra time purely to gain extra points for more injuries (finished a game v Dark Elves with them with 1 player left on the pitch and the rest suffering Bad Injuries or worse, 3 dead).

I did the same against the High Elves then lost on bloody penos, stupid Ogre cant kick fo shizz, the big players are a nightmare to play with because they are stupid

im on fifa 16 now, few changes takes a fair while to get used to. the passing is harder but i like that, you really have to wait for the right moment to pick your pass otherwise it doesnt stand a chance. no more dinked through balls from anywhere to put you clean through

dont like how no matter what speed your or there player is, the defender will always win. seems like fifa have gone you have to play like barca or nothing else works. which is a bit boring i like quick direct counter attack taking players on and its pretty difficult on this game.

also incredibly hard to get the ball back through standard tackles with players just running past the ball. on the harder levels expect half of your game to be chasing the ball around the defence while the computer just passes it between them

I find that on Legendary setting, opposition guys with 32 pace run like Ronaldo, while my guys with 94 pace run like Carrick. Difficulty setting should be for IQ - anticipation, thinking ahead, better passing - not just outright cheating the stats.

What skills do you normally go for?

Playing as Chaos currently then the three main ones to get are Block, Guard, Tackle.
Secondary skills I normally go for are Dirty Player, Tentacles & Mighty Blow.

I'm about 1600 atm, not had a player killed as of yet though one Beastman has dropped a point in agility to an injury. Got a double 6 for a Chaos Warrior last night though so he's now strength 5.

I gave it a go a couple of nights ago when my team was still under 1400 and my first match was up against Skaven with a rating of 1720, he scored on the 2nd turn, I was holding on until half time and on the 8th turn it looked like I'd turned a corner when I managed to knock out his Rat Ogre. Half time then blew and all 4 knockouts were revived. He scored again 2nd half but I beat the jeebies out of his team with 1 dead & 3 serious injuries.
2nd game I was drawn against a team with a score of over 1900 so I bailed and went back to AI.

Chaos are ruddy hard in scraps and have decent all round stats (3 AG & 3 ST for all the main players) but start with no skills.
Dark Elf I think are the hardest to play as, they want to scrap but they're like the angry short bloke in the pub.

I've not tried that yet, only been doing the smaller map and the solo quests but both of those were awesome.

Do you shoot from the hip or aim? Am certainly finding it better to go bareback so to speak.
