Just IMDB'd it and I suspect that's what set you off on your killing spree.

It would but your retirement would make 606 v2 Off Topic even more pointless. Why not carry on until 80085?

I did promise to run a music cup in the new year so I might have to postpone retirement anyway.
I know how much everyone is looking forward to another cup competition.
80085 is something to aim at. You're an inspiration, Galted.

The year is certainly ending on a high, I've never been called an inspiration before (apart from for forced euthanasia). The music cup is something for me to aim at, if I survive the tough selection process would you mind pm'ing me the rounds before everyone else gets them so I can do a bit of research? Would like to have a few more answers than Love Will Tear Us Apart and Pearly Dewdrops Drops.

I fear for you a little bit as Love Will Tear Us Apart is banned. As is Hurt and Don't Look Back In Anger.
When I have decided on the categories, I will try and get a 'Best Cocteau Twins' song round in there.

Cheers. I've got a Bangles album somewhere, might give that a listen. Anything to tip the scales in my favour, haven't exactly set the world alight in any of the 4 cups so far.

I wouldn't say that. You did pick To Kill A Mockingbird in one of the Culture Cup rounds and that is the best book ever.

I did also, cynically, pick Oldboy in one of the rounds expecting a flurry of votes which never happened.

If you want to win the music cup, just pick anything by Joy Division.
That should work.
I think you should make one of the music rounds Insect based.
Any song by or about insects (such as by the beatles or Adam and the Ants)

It was ok but I'd developed an idea that everyone on 606 was obsessed with it, despite you very unprofesionally advising me to the contrary.

I really dislike 'l*l'. Not as much as Jeff dislikes it though.
If he was still a Admin, he would almost certainly ban you if you use it. But, he did get demoted to a humble Mod so he can't really. He is a bit of a toothless tiger these days.
Leave it up to you if you feel like goading him.

Never go in a ball pit, Galted. Little bit of advice from your old pal, Tino.
Yes, Julius is a scoundrel. Too clever and too witty. I will get my revenge when I change every pick of his in the '14 Music Cup to songs by Mika.

All my friends seem to have developed some kind of severe bladder infection that makes them lose control over anything that may be considered even remotely fun... It is not fun.

That one's made even worse by the fact that "myself" is one word so it should be "PML". People who use that are one of the reasons violence was invented.

We don't need to be scared of him. He just has a blue badge. It doesn't carry any authority. He basically does all the jobs that Adam can't be arsed with.

I'm not really familiar with the various roles and am not on a first-name basis with any of them so I fear them all as authority figures (by the way, "Nice Christmas, Jeff?" is just showing off, like wrestling with a dog that's just made your mate sh!t himself with its bark).
The sandpit advice deserves a laugh emoticon, well done.
