First topic message reminder :

Let's look towards the next game after getting ourselves back on track against France, just like last year, after the Irish put the spanner in the works.

The French game has got England very very angry - we can never accept that France should beat us. The battering we gave Ireland in the last 10 minutes is what England have in store for the 80 against Wales. Be afraid.

But Wales to start as favourites.

this is wales, the "undoubted northern hemisphere champions of the last 2 years", last chance to avoid being massive underdogs in the group stages for RWC 2015.

but nothing to worry about, you will still have gatland contracted thru the next world cup in japan if it all ends at the group stage...

If England lose but score a try, at least you get some sorta moral victory. How's Lancasterball working out for you thus far?

we wont even score a pen v you mate- you are the best team. you only let SH teams beat you because you are charitable.. You love the game so much that if you actually did win every game you ever played you understand that no one else would want to play it. So to keep it alive you let others win sometimes.

But you wont let England score a point this time- you gave the charity to Ireland this tourney. Gatland felt so guilty about his evil words..

Great. I can see it already. Wales manage to be England at HQ (again) then their fans immediately continue their coat-tailing of Australia... A few of you rotten apples need some humility.

England are up against it, wales are several years down the line and all the pressure is on them to win this game.

The English lads are improving game by game but this is different, this is mighty wales!

TBH lads, you're just being overly kind. We all know England have won a world cup, so should walk this game. Just another day at the office for the Lancaster boys.

But we can't say what we truly think as we are accused of being anti Welsh saint or wummers, which is ridiculous most of us just think Wales are a little Poopie this year!

Too true, it was a pleasure having banter with them as they were a good bunch of posters who did take themselfs to seriously and certainly didn't go running to the mods every few posts.

Always next year to look forward to.  guinness thumbsup

I guess the spanking Wales took in Dublin is still stinging the fans.

You can't keep bringing it up like that, it upsets them we all have to move on and pretend it didn't happen.

Come on lads they did really well to earn that 4th place.

I have to admit I enjoyed the 2007 RWC more than 2003 as we were always going to win that one, 2007 was a nice surprise.

They were pretty good in horrendous conditions in Rome, 2013.

I can tell you last time England put in a good performance away from HQ too. It was that draw against SA. Boy them lot sure knew how to talk up a draw!

When was the last time Wales put in a good performance away from the MS?

They were pretty good in horrendous conditions in Rome, 2013.

I can tell you last time England put in a good performance away from HQ too. It was that draw against SA. Boy them lot sure knew how to talk up a draw!

England have won 4/6 of their away games since then. Even ignoring the Argentina games there's still an impressive win at the Aviva and a ludicrously one-sided game at Murrayfield. The Wales game was our only actual bad performance of the lot.

In any case, this game is at Twickenham so it's not at all relevant.

I see Matt Perry was the invited guest on Scrum V. I know he's England's most-capped full-back but I did wonder whether anyone in the audience would have known who he was without being told. Or even after they were told.

You English wums can. You guys love a coat tailing sesh. Wales are going to have to let England win this one so you guys don't have to cling onto other teams' wins.
