Ireland v France - The 6N decider
First topic message reminder :
With such a strong points advantage if Ireland can just win in Paris then the Championship is there's. Now it's never been a happy hunting ground for Ireland - can they do it?
I think it's there year and I'm going to say yes.

Well done ireland but Walsh has just shafted France. At the scrum it should of been a penalty and Walsh even moved his arm to start to signal for it. France had the ball but it should of been advantage.
Healy should be looking at a citing, it's that sort of stuff you guys moan at about Farrell.
On the otherhand, well done ireland - its a great ending for bod

Brain damage?
Well done Ireland, and France too for a very exciting end to the Six Nations. Right down to the last few seconds. Commiserations England. Close again, but at least you're building well to the World Cup.
Enjoy the celebrations Irish fans and St Patrick's Day.
BOD MOTM too.

Well done Ireland - should have won more comfortably if Sexton kicked better.
Slightly disappointed that BOD didn't get a try to finish it all. It would have been rather fitting.

Despite not being as good as England at HQ, Ireland stuck at it manfully and although they had a bit of luck are deserving champions doing what we couldn't and not letting France score their customary try in the last minute or two.
Great send off for BOD.

No, it should have been a penalty to Ireland as France pushed early. So close yet so far away for England again, but a good tournament win for Ireland though .
Well done Ireland.

Well done Ireland.
Your physicality, aggression and game management was a cut above every team this 6N's. And Schmidt was such a profound difference to the side.
Still England are the best team as we beat you...

Well played Ireland, probably just about deserved it and a fitting end for BOD.
If England couldn't win it then I'm more than happy to see Ireland take the title as they have been a credit to the game this six nations and so have the Irish fans.

Sometimes fairy tales do come true!
They gave him man of the match, I thought the likes of O'Connell and Trimble would have been in line for that honour if it wasn't BODs last ever game but who the hell cares!!!
Brian O'Driscoll, I man love you, enjoy your retirement you legend!

Congrats Ireland!
Shame France could quite finish that off and do England a favour but deserved winners.
Great game.
Side with the best defence won the championship. That's what it's all about in the 6Ns

England, commiserations on finished second. I thought you were amazing this tournament and your future is very bright.

Moore coming in for Ross almost cost Ireland the win...
Still well done Ireland, by far the best team in the tournament and should have won or at least draw against England. Very happy for the likes of BOD, POC and Heaslip...
That said, i think McCarthy or Ryan should have been there instead of Toner.

Biltong, when do we play you next, I would like to see just how good our physicality is in the run up to the RWC. If we can match SA I will be very happy.
I think Ireland and England have upped their game to the extent that they can complete, but would like to see if it they can match SA. We know we can compete at that level with Aus and NZ

I thought Sexton was a pretty good bet for MOTM too. If France stick with that pack there's a chance they can improve upon their performances in the past 3 tournaments which have been urine poor.

Yeah it would be a travesty if Brown didn't get it- Sexton was the real MOTM against Italy and Trimble was the real MOTM today but couldn't care less. We'll never see his like again.

I am excited about Irelands win but I do have to say that Mike Brown has been the player of the tournament, closely followed by Danny Care.

Congratulations Ireland, when that scrum went I thought penalty but France got the ball so they rightly carried on. But when the French player went into contact it was clear he was too upright. What a way to end the game. Congratulations again.

Too much sun, sea and sand for us, plus it gets above freezing every now and again.
Mind you we are going a bit further south this summer, some place full of Hobbits and mountains. How can Hobbits forma decent rugby team.
They called us Orks a few years ago, what should we call them now.

Hammer, not literally I hope. Sounds very camp.
What are you going to do now you are BODless, D'Arcy also needs to hang up his int. boots. Have you got competent replacements? BOD is pretty irreplaceable.

No, not literally. Although the last few times we played them they were so physically dominating they could have if they wanted too. Although I think (hope) England's pack has improved to the point they can compete with SA now. But we'll see how we get with the kiwi's first.
