I try to avoid public speaking (except lectures) mainly because when I'm nervous I sound like Andy Murray.

OP - surely tactics go to the voter? Then he looks at them all, and decides a winner.

Only just seen the sweepstake, just as well I didn't care for it anyway Laugh

Burning 500 calories a day good? Before you answer Azzy I know you're super fit and 500 calories is nothing for you but the average person? I've stopped smoking since Monday really happy with that.

Smokers are jokers.

500cals a day is good. Your daily allowance is 2,500. If you want to lose 1lb per week you have to limit yourself to 2,100 calories per day. So in doing 500cals of exercise, you can have a normal day's food/drink guilt-free.

Burning 500 calories a day is better than burning 0 calories a day, although everything is completely dependant upon how much you eat.

The average daily recommended calorie intake for blokes is about 2500 to maintain your weight, so that should help put some context on it.

And well done for not smoking. It may help pay my mortgage, but it's still a bad habit, so well done clap

I've cut out all the junk and sweets fizzy drinks etc, it has made a big difference. I reckon I am eating around 2500 calories. So that's 14 weeks to lose a stone, long time to go I want to lose 2 stones.

I eat two slices of toast with butter+marmite in the mornings, 300cals.

Corned beef and cucumber sandwich at lunch - 400cals.

Dinner ranges from 750cals-1,000cals - add in a snack that totals up to 1,700 cals.

At the weekends I eat what I want, when I want, and I slowly but surely drop my weight down. But I'm not miserable like you are when you diet day in, day out.

No wonder you're hungover.

Fabregas is a world class CM who is a colossus in the PL. Why did he plump for the squad rotation mess at Chelsea rather than the guaranteed hero fanfare at Old Trafford, the Emirates or Anfield? Madness. Well played Chelsea, finally made a good signing!

By all accounts, he wanted to go to Arsenal, but they turned down the chance to sign him.

And it is reported he only wanted to go to London, which rules out Utd, Everton and Liverpool...

I heard he would have joined United and was keen on the move after Arsene rejected him. Chelsea have got a fine player and I've always said Fabregas is the players I'd have to replace Scholes.

Chelsea's team could be a scary looking;

Courtois
Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta
Fabregas Matic
Willian Oscar Hazard
Costa
Subs: Cech, Zouma, Mikel, Ramires, Schurrle, Salah, Lukaku

I also think the papers are a bit too fawning of Neymar's performance.

I though he was a bit crap. One scuffed goal, a bad penalty that the keeper should save, and then a whole load of meh.

Neymar was rubbish. Cheating scumbag.

I thought Thiago Silva was okay, Oscar was exceptional, but the rest were all very poor. I hope you all took note of how 34 year old journeyman Ivica Olic tore Dani Alves a new one. Alves is a worse RB than Glen Johnson. At one point Marcelo was covering the RB position!!!!!

I now have two £5 free bets with Paddy Power thanks to his two goals last night, and will get another £5 free bet for each goal he scores throughout the tournament
