Don't have Sky here so not got a clue. Haven't read anything or seen it on BBC news all day. Heard the rumours earlier in the window though.

Blind had been there for over two days before the deal was confirmed, this has been one of the most messed up transfer windows i've known. Chelsea have done ok but aside from that it's been a mess from everybody.

Thus a loan TSJ!

Will be decent backup who can step in when needed. We needed defenders, got em. In Grabban/Hooper we've two strikers who should score 20+ goals each this season up top. Very optimistic, not too much turnover of players this window and have added good players for this level. And Carlos Cuellar for lolz

Can't understand the Negredo deal. Aguero will inevitably be injured for half a season and then Jovetic struggled last year with injuries too. City are competing for four trophies, they need more than that you feel. If they're going to get rid of Negredo, have to be bringing in a replacement, even if it's not a marquee signing.

It's true I would have liked Falcao, but that's not why it would be funny.

It's very odd how Falcao appears to be fleeing from Champions League football.

Falcao deal confirmed by Manchester United

Interesting quote for Jorge Mendes. He claims Falcao has signed permanent deal. Due to financial FairPlay it's signed as 1 year loan then 3 year contract...

Van Gaal has to deliver top four. He's been given the funds, signed two of the best players in the world over the past two years and spent more than any other team in the Premier League as well having at least the top two highest wages in the league (Rooney and Falcao). No excuses really.

I keep hearing that without European football United won't be able to attract any big names. So placating the small name players they have should be absolutely no problem.

I wonder how many games borini will get this season.?

To be fair to him he has said from day one that he didnt want to come back to Sunderland. I blame gus Poyet for perusing him all season. We should of gone after others - especially a striker. We have fletcher, altidore and wickham as our front line.

Crimey, rumours at my end say that Liverpool still owe us £14m from the Henderson and Mingolet deals, fence why the borini deal was that amount to clear the debt? Have you heard anything about that?

I hope Coates gets games, but I have a feeling he'll have to wait until brown or o'shea get injured...

I can't even see Borini getting more than five games, his best hope is that Liverpool either fall into the Europa league or go on a long cup run. He's not even in the 18 man squad most of the time, and rightly so.

Surprised that Liverpool still have Lucas, seemed no effort was made to sell him either. Perhaps Rodgers saw a use for him.

normally i would agree, but he's in his first year taking over a shambles left by moyes. top 4 in first year is more than enough, should look to challenge the year after.
