Edinburgh's attacking play is so slow.

Not sure what else Jackson could have done there. Hugely scrappy.

Cuthbert has a big boot, should have taken that kick against the Scarlets.

No agression from Edinburgh at the breakdown. They ease off too early for me..

We're just so flat in every facet of play - there's no zip about us!

What a soft try, Kennedy and Visser both missed!

Bit of luck with the ball bouncing all over the place, but desperately poor tackling there!

That's why Viss would not be my first choice for Scotland. Maitland and Seymour are just about as good with the ball but can both tackle so much better than that!

Our rucking is so passive!!! We're practically just tickling them ffs.

Best is so good at the breakdown, you could afford not to play an out and out 7

Completely agree. Almost have Lamont in ahead of him.

We need to get some points soon - need to keep the gap close.
Ulster have many, many more gears to come yet.

Anyone remember Visser's turnstile impersonation when we lost to Zebre last season? My Dad's been calling him 'the doorman' ever since!
Re: GPro 12 - Ulster V Edinbrugh Rugby
Absolutely no creativity from Edinburgh - attacking scrum, so we kick is straight to them!!!

Visser is becoming unselectable at international level. His agent will be watching from begins the sofa, every attempt at a tackle must knock a few grand off his starting price when it comes to contract talks.

Kennedy to be slow or Visser to tackle like a jessie?

Sam H-C said in an interview that they were being told not to make sniping runs or take quick taps because they need to rely on the set piece.
Says it all really!

Well I doubt Ulster's misty eyed view of Solomans will extend to inviting him back based on that half (unfortunately).

I missed the first 15 minutes but from what I have seen, Ulster are not going to lose this short of an Ebola outbreak in their changing room at half time

Re: GPro 12 - Ulster V Edinbrugh Rugby
Edinburgh need a few changes and quickly or this game is going to run away from them.
Get S H-C and Heathcote on at half back and Burleigh out to 12.Two new props won't hurt either. Hopefully Gilchrist is just a blood injury, he looks like he is trying hard at any rate.
On the positive side at least the line out is better this week. I am trying hard to find any positives at all!

Hidalgo Kline needs to come on in the second half.
Hidaldo Kline needs to ignore Solomans.

Not disputing that Ulster should be ahead...................... but there were several Ulster players who made no effort to retreat 10 yards after the kick that led to the Trimble try.
Should have been an Edinburgh penalty.

Sad thing is I'm pretty sure he was a flanker before he went to England. Probably says more about Dutch rugby than anything else though...Dorothy_Mantooth wrote:Visser is becoming unselectable at international level. FFS can Edinburgh not get a Pro 12 ref in to their training sessions. Every week, we get pinged to hell in the scrums.
Captains log supplemental - so we bring on Nel who is the most penalised player at scrum time in the universe.
