Enough excuses IYA! (Loved that story by the way)
Gilchrist replaced by Toolis now! That's the 5th change inside the first half...

I have genuinely list track of the changes pre and during the game. Who is left on the bench? Presumably 2 propsTattie Scones RRN wrote:Edinburgh now have 3 subs left on the bench.

To be fair IBD, Ritchie is just literally out of school. I know one of the coaches and, genuinely, great things are expected of him but he just doesn't have the size just now and they are, understandably, reluctant to let him get man-abused. 12. Strauss replaced before kick off.
I bet you he still wont play Ritchie or Bradbury next week either, citing them as "not ready"

Fair enough, although he was considered good enough to play the pre season games...
Bradbury on the other hand is a bit older, over 17st, and was a beast at the JWC. I dont buy that hes isnt physically as ready as he'll ever be.

I must confess I have never seen Bradbury, Dave. It doesn't look like we will have much choice but to play Bradbury against Leinster next week, though. Let's hope Jamie Heaslip is given the day off!
Short of an Ebola outbreak, I can't see how we can have more players unavailable.

The SRU should get Richie Vernon, Rory Hughes, James Eddie and Will Bordill all loaned to Edinburgh. Get them game time & help Edinburgh.

Just checked the update at half time - that's got to be the worst half of injuries ever in recent memory?

PM for RDW when you are next online.
He didn't say he was going to the game and, unless he is getting triple time for unsocial hours, it is too late for you engineer chappies to be leaning on a shovel scratching your hoop next to 3 miles of traffic cones on the motorway after digging a hole the size of an A4 piece of paper.

With the numbers away with international call-up, plus injuries, Glasgow may need them next month!

Sounds like we're the better team - even though we've got a hooker in the back row

Great result, especially given the leadership void without Strauss and Coman.
Hope no serious injuries. Gutted for Gilchrist if he misses the AIs.
P.s. My staff never get the night off. What sort of hippy free for all operation do you think we run in Stockbridge!? Next you'll accuse me of paying above the minimum wage!

You pay your staff???
I assumed it was sheer loyalty to the emperor of Stockbridge that kept them there.

Also bad news on the Gilchrist front. Editor at the Herald tweets that it looks as if he'll miss the AI's.

Gutted if that's the case. Will any Edinburgh players feature in the Scotland squad?
Have to say though, it's great Edinburgh have got 2/2 and that'll give them a huge boost going back into the Rabo.

I enjoyed that game, looked like we could have been on for the BP until we lost half our team. the guys that came on fronted up well, but we lost our attacking structure. We won we move on.

Good news is Leinster will have a very short turnaround so are likely to rotate.
3 wins in a row now, can only be a good thing for the team morale.

According to the SRU website, Hamish Watson has a broken jaw and Roddy Grant bust a cheekbone. No word on Gilchrist.
It looks like there may be opportunities for the younger back row guys in the coming weeks.

No 7s left though.
Plus, Ritchie is listed as injured, does that just leave Bradbury as our only player left to pick, and he's never started a competitive game?
If Gilchrist is injured we only have 2 fit locks - bresler and toolis
This is getting desperate

Anyone at the game able to rate the players? Scotsman says Dell, hilterbrand and Denton were the standouts.
Sounds like a great break from Hurley for the try too.
