Missus is having a feminist weekend in Brighton so I'm driving out west to help my Dad out tomorrow. Was hoping for tractor related work in the horse fields but looks as if it'll be a bit of tree and hedge work. Should be ok though. Then It's back home for saturday night and sunday for a bit of drinking. Will do a bit of work at the ground then may hit the pub for the Man Utd v Chelsea game. Rare treat that I have a sunday to myself.

I have a wedding this weekend, which normally would be cool, however this is a superhero themed fancy dress wedding.

I hate fancy dress, plus it is going to be full of fat people in lycra, it will be like watching a room of lava lamps. I am great believer if dressing for the body you have, not the body you want.

They are awesome. Although I saw the same article and the pictures were a bit unrealistic. The scale of them made them look bigger than they are. Although they are huge regardless of poorly framed photo's. I've seen Steve Backshall tempt one out of its hole in the wild with a stick and then pick the thing up. They rarely bite though and are actually pretty harmless to humans.

Did you see the article about the Brazilian Wandering spider that was delivered by a Waitrose van in a bunch of bananas. Somewhere in West Laandon I think.

Now I would pick pretty much any insect up, but that is one thing I would scream like a cissy and run away from. They are thunder bastards. Most venomous spider out there, and pretty aggressive. They can give you priapism, a painful stiffy that lasts for ages. Might be worth a go if you can stand the pain, I suppose.
