All I can say is shop around a bit. Don't act desperate when someone comes to size it up.
$730 equivalent seems pretty expensive.

What is the area of wall, what quantity of material and how long for how many blokes to do the work?
Try and work out the base price from that and see how much extra your quote is. If it's a few hundred over tell them "Thanks very much..." and keep looking for a better deal. Get 3-4 quotations at least if you can.

She asked if I was living alone. She also complimented me on my sign out the front. Her cafe and my company are both named after precious stones.

A couple days ago, the gym installed two HD TVs, which ostensibly only play a fitness channel not available on my TV plan. This morning, a particularly attractive woman was on the channel doing backflips, and squatting and such. The gym literally stood still. Never seen anything like it.

Back in 2009 we had an Aussie batsmen playing for us. Educated Uni sort and was playing for Melbourne 1st grade at the age of 19. Played against another side who had an Aussie bowler. Got talking to him after the game and sheesh he was thick. He was explaining how he was looking forward to getting back and continuing his job 'crushing rocks'. 'Aw look mate, you can get all sizes of rocks to crush'. Our Aussie was cringing.

I once stayed in a sharehouse where one of the Aussie girls had a boyfriend who was a "roo-shooter". His name was "Bodge" or something similar. Never met him unfortunately, sounded like a bit of a legend.

Yep, that's one of my plans. I'm only a few months into the building trust stage but she is getting more friendlier each day.

This suburb is like a zoo.
So many attractive and exotic young women doing the slow daydreaming walk thing by my letterbox. I often see them stopped in their tracks and having a good long look up my Driveway to Heaven.
