Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Paul, have you noticed the weird the spam in the 'getting started' and 'title history' sections?
I would delete them but I don’t seem to have permissions in that area of the site to do so.
Morning All, wow back at work today and tbh it’s a struggle! I had forgotten what 7am felt like (I can confirm it doesn’t feel any better in 2015 than it did last year... still sucks!)
Twist are you planning a response to Costello? Was also hoping JJ would get involved and respond to VC's comments.

Sadly I've got my match to write and with WWA stuff, graphic design projects and planning for mine and Lottie's second 'halfaversary' I've got my hands full

Halfaversary...half way to the real thing haha
Last year I used the phrase '6 month anniversary' to which Lottie explained why that was stupid so this year I've come up with something that is intentionally stupid.

The baby is 2. 2!

So its your 18monthversary? Thats catchy!
Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Do you intend on celebrating every 6 months, at what point do you have to have the conversation that says ' you know what, this getting to costly. Why don't we just do what all the regular folk do and celebrate every year?'
Unless your planning on celebrating everything twice a year?
Birthdays, Christmas - Could get confusing

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
With my dating history anything is celebrating after 6 months
In all honesty the 'halfaversary' isn't really a big thing, we'll probably just go out for a meal and with it coinciding with our Christmas (as we don't see each other for Christmas) there's no real point of giving presents as Christmas trumps anniversary.
I'm not sure I want to ever stop celebrating the small things*, we pretty much go out somewhere to eat most times Lottie is down and I like making her things/getting her presents...weirdly, we don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. It can be a bit costly but the way I look at it is that it's just money and with no kids to pay for I'm not doing too badly.

To answer the QOTD anyway - I'm really enjoing the Royal Blood album and would love to have a character who uses one of their songs as entrance music
Also enjoying the new Ben Howard album

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I kind of forgot about the other thread sorry lads
To answer my own question this morning alone I've been skipping from System Of A Down to Demi Lovato (Guilty pleasure) and I've currently got on Dillinger Escape Plan.
So that's Nu-metal to pop to mathcore in the space of a few hours.
I feel as if the smarky fans would have a love hate relationship with Grace...they'd hate him and would love to kick him in the head.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I will be of no use in this discussion as my music is critically and commercially derided!
Anyway, albums that I am currently listening to:
North - MatchboxTwenty
X - Spocks Beard
Feast of Consequences - Fish
The Spine - They might be giants

If Grace was run over, he would probably apologise to the driver for being in the way.
My musical tastes are rubbish. I like nothing modern....not really into music. My top two are Queen and The Darkness. So Queens greatest hits are usually playing in the car.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Devi Lovato is the woman who wrote Let It Go from Frozen and her music is catchy pop...I'll be honest I don't look like the typical fan. I have to say I forgot how amazing Toxicity is as an album, it's just full of amazing SOAD tracks and reminds me of being 11/12? Probably the band who got me in to heavier music along with CKY and Limp Bizkit.
Dillinger Escape Plan are a strange band, it's taken me a while to get in to them as their style can be really off putting...for those that can give them a listen...just a warning though, it's not office friendly haha

Let it Go Agghhh the bane of my life - It is on repeat in the car and the film is always on at home - I have a 2 year old who is obsessed with it and insists on dressing as either Anna or Elsa every day
Is the other stuff shouty?
I am too old for shouty stuff - I now prefer cardigans and Lonny Donegan

My niece is exactly the same, it makes Christmas a bit easier though haha.
I have to say that my music taste has chilled a bit, I'm still in to shouty but it has to stand out to really stick with me...my top 5 for 2014 would probably be:
1. Emarosa
2. Letlive
3. Artifex Pereo
4. Fall Out Boy
5. Dead And Divine (Although they split in 2012/13 I think)

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I can't handle shouty, I used to tolerate linkin park but that's as far as I can stretch and their pretty middle of the road. Up until my mid-late twenties I was a massive Indy mark... Mainly the libertines, bloc party, killers, strokes, Arctic Monkeys. I used to think all other music was just soulless but I've become far more eclectic as I've got older... Now like a bit of everything.

For me:
Who Wants to Live Forever (live version)
Fat Bottom Girls (again the live version)
Headlong
That was really hard though. Most will pick the mainstream choices (Bo Rhap, We are the champions, we will rock you etc.) But personal choice wise, those three are my favourite.
Special shout out to guitar section in Innuendo. Quality.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I pretty much enjoy anything really, I can find myself listening to death metal at one moment but then suddenly get in the mood for hip hop or acoustic or anything...the only music I've never really found myself liking much of is Country and Classical (a few sound tracks but nothing much.)
I've gone from The Dillinger Escape Plan to The Weeknd now haha

Childish Gambino is always on the go, Chance the Rapper, been listening to No Diggity ("Blackstreet" I think) on repeat cos its such a good song, and my new love of pop has lead me to 1D and Taylor Swift. I shouldnt, but Shake It Off is so catchy!

Gambino is amazing, not in to everything he does but Sweatpants is a must! Hip hop wise I'm a fan of Ghetts, Yelawolf and I'll always enjoy Eminem. Love Taylor Swift as well...I'm thinking of designing a t-shirt each month for 2015 and one month will be a T-Swift design haha
