I'm in a love hate relationship with my shifts...
12 hour shifts are hard going but it means I only work three days a week and that every other week see's me working Monday/Saturday/Sunday.

It just sucks getting a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday the week after.

Sometimes I like the idea of going back in to office work as weekends off and finishing early would be amazing but I kind of like that I can have four days off in a row every two weeks...the work is hard but I like it.

I got bored in an office and nothing is worse for me than getting bored. I find stupid ways of entertaining myself.

Two QOTD's today.

Non 6CW related!
1. Relating to the music one, what are your biggest guilty pleasures?

6CW Related!
2. The next PPV features the Gateway To Glory match...who would you say are the early favourites to win 6CW's very own Royal Rumble?

QOTD for myself.

1. Music wise I think I already admitted to it but I have a love of pop music...I had people at work claim I was a liar because I told them I like Taylor Swift, they said I look like someone who listens to "satan music". Although this is true, can't I like both.

I also find myself watching stuff like Hollyoaks but I also love bad horror movies like Sandsharks, Zombeavers, Strippers vs Werewolves!

2. My original guess was going to be Gazzy D but he obviously had other plans. I'd love for it to be Wood but I'm not sure as I feel the Joshua feud will run and no disrespect to Twist or myself but that isn't a N.O.G main event in my opinion.

Costello and Adamson have been S.O.T.Y in my opinion but with titles it would be unlikely for it to be them, Masters is another but I feel like a proper showdown with Harris could be on the cards...other than that we have Grace who's promos could easily win it for him, JJ looks to have a title shot BUT would be a pretty decent winner. Out of everyone else we obviously have Enforcer.

My top 3 favourites right now would be Masters, Enforcer and maybe Wood but everything could change in two/three shows time.

Afternoon. Glad I got those segments done Paul. I'm in bed with flu. Unfortunately not the man flu kind.

Read the promo Viper, a great way to end it.

QotD....

1. One of my favourite films is Basil the Great Mouse Detective. I don't have any kids to excuse watching it though.

2. I would go for Masters. I would like to see GazzyD v Adamson of course, but I think the Jones factor is important. Especially against the only Authority member that came up smelling of roses.

Grace would be a popular choice as well (!). Disputed win when he and GazzyD are the last 2? That would shake the crowd up a lot.

Afternoon all, will get a promo up this evening/tomorrow morning.

1. Reality TV is by far and way my guilty pleasure. Can't stand Made In Chelsea but pretty much everything else. Total Divas is great, by far the best WWE show! Music-wise, my guilty pleasure at the moment is Ariana Grande, for any number of reasons.

2. One of Masters or Harris for me, although Enforcer may come into the reckoning as well.

Morning all - Two days to go Smile

Show is looking good, really trying to give it that big show feel without going over the top on scale of the matches etc - I think getting the balance between normal shows and PPV's is sometimes what we have struggled with, not that it is detrimental to all of you but it can sometimes increase the workload unnecessarily on us

QOTD and be honest - How many of you read all of the show? What do you read, your matches and segments? Do you read all the match or skim for big spots?

Also going to pull my finger out and do the awards for 2014 - I will dig out the categories and post the details

I normally read the show through twice, first I read just the segments and skim for the winners of the matches and then the next time through I give the matches a bit more attention to make sure I didn't miss anything...I admit sometimes I don't read every match fully for the 'weekly' show but I do for PPV matches.

Morning all

QOTD and be honest - How many of you read all of the show? What do you read, your matches and segments? Do you read all the match or skim for big spots?

I read all the segments, interviews, backstage happenings, in ring promos the lot... I then skim the matches (look for big spots as you said) fast forwarding to the results. I do however read my guys matches in full.

I also try to read all of the posted promos (but sometimes miss the odd one), I like to know what others are saying and how they are building their character... mainly for ammunition in my promos lol.

I like how there is always something for everyone’s characters in the show and how the main goal of any seg, promo or match within the show is about forwarding the storyline. I think there could more backstage interaction and cross feud matches to give people a chance to promo against everyone in the fed to some extent or another, for example in the last two years Costello has only had one match with Masters/Harris/Grace/Ojore/Enforcer, I don’t think he has ever faced Plague/Joshua/Max/JJ/Bam/Demarcus. I guess it depends on your perspective; over exposing characters to each other could make a feud when it happens seem less important or impactful if they have fought a number of times. However a wider breadth of matches gives the promoers a chance to test their skills against others.

Not complaining, just some thoughts that have spilled out...

Think I have said before but here goes....

First time is usually a skim for my matches and key segments. Usually it's because I'm reading on the mobile. Then, either at work or my laptop, I will read through properly. I still skim bits of other matches, usually the initial parts. But I will reread if something happens later on I missed.

I agree with M's point but it is difficult to make existing feuds move forward if you are against other people not involved. However, I do really enjoy a back and forth.

For that reason I have sometimes posted two promos if I have found myself in that situation. The first is usually backstage and will talk about the current feud or about my character. Second promo is in ring and a direct call to my opponent. I have used this policy for Grace a lot.

If many people skim the matches and they are one of the hardest things to write, then maybe we could rethink the structure? WWA uses a bullet point format for its matches. We could have that format for shows and proper style matches for PPV's? It's a bold suggestion I know but if we are honest and say we don't really give the matches the attention it deserves, then maybe it should be used on special occasions like PPV's?

It will lower workload I should imagine and maybe see a return of weekly shows? I think I would prefer a show a week with bullet point matches, than two week shows with exceptionally written matches that the vast majority of us skim.

Please also bear in mind I'm up to my eyeballs in flu medication Laugh

To answer the qotd i tend to eead all segments and my match, but skim the others unless its a huge match a la recent wood and costello bouts

Is it Thursday already?? Sorry I counted it in terms of writing days and essentially I have today and tomorrow although the show will be tomorrow evening

Twist - It is an interesting argument and one that we would have to think about if members seriously out weigh available writers - Normally JJ will do around 4, on a larger show this means there could be 5 or 6 matches still to pick up plus segments - I am not complaining as I love what I do but as has been seen in the past burnout is common in efeds

I like the idea of bullet point matches or at least summary matches if it meant closer shows...I loved 10 day gaps because sometimes the two week ones feel like ages but I get why we have them. I don't know if bullet point matches would take away from feuds though but maybe it's something to try?

Darn....thought I had an extra day to write then haha

Tbh once I start I actually enjoy writing matches, just get distracted easily and end up doing it the day/night before. Think after the next show I might do my writing earlier and then I've got the rest of the gap to catch up on stuff

I've never read a bullet point match so can't comment

I have a QOTD of my own if that's ok?
As I mentioned yesterday we'll see the 2nd Gateway To Glory match since the re-birth...we currently have a few records.

Most Eliminations: Mike Masters - 4
Longest Run: Nate Nack- 62 minutes, 31 seconds
Shortest Run: Percy Percival - 5 seconds

Will we see any of these broken and if so by who?

My guess will be the most eliminations will be smashed by Joshua possibly making it to 6 or 7. Longest run probably won't and I'd love to see Percy back to defend his record haha

Ydays QOTD;

Guilty pleasure: Celebrity gossip Cool

Gateway to Glory match: Liam Wood has to be in with a shout, along with Grace who's going from strength to strength. Also, if Masters and Harris do face off, I reckon the loser of the match could go on and win the Gateway to Glory match, making the two both look strong.

QOTD;

My "Most eliminations" will surely be broken, my guess for that is either Wood or Enforcer. The other two records will remain.
