Introduce yourself!
First topic message reminder :
A warm welcome to the rugby members of this board.
However, you found us, it doesnt matter!
If you are an old 606er, then let us know who you were. If you have found us by some other means - tell us a bit about yourself.
So get mingling people!

PJ,
Chill, have some wine and play some music that makes you smile.
Thanks for the therapy advice Doc. Gibbo - a nice bottle of Faustino Rioja and Johhny Cash live at San Quentin it is then.

Ah, Injured man, It was time to move on to pastures new before the old pastures were eaten.
Great to see you on here and enhancing this site, pal. One of the better, injured ones - on 606.
What does what mean?
I can't believe I just typed that.
Do you mean "mo chara"? It means "My friend" - in Irish. Mo chara.
This is what Im listening to right now. Im drinkin poteen to cure severe man-flu. 90% proof. Who needs a phooken Pub and a jukebox... 8)

I'm hearing that, nice link.
"....Well, I hit him hard right between the eyes and he went down, but to my surprise, he come up with a knife and cut off a piece of my ear..."
That line never fails to bring a smile to my face.
I'm going to cork the remains of the Rioja and retire to my cot now, good therapy brother - I'll pass it on.

Re: Introduce yourself!
Took the name from a line in a TV advert, also used this name on the now finished bbc 606 website.
i like rugby, motorsports and sometimes darts and snooker (depending on the mood), favourite teams are Scarlets and Wales rugby team.
i like computing, music (progressive rock, berlin school / spacey electronic, avant garde and experimental rock, heavy metal/hard rock, classic rock and proper punk from the 70s, jazz fusion and some soul stuff), motor cars and music instruments.

Re: Introduce yourself!
I am an ex 606er and Scrum V before that with the same user name. I have not posted much the last couple of years due to losing interest in the boards (too much wuming) and work preventing me from logging in
I will see how this goes and look forward to re-joining the rugby debate.

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hello there. I'm Griff, also a former 606er like many others, who has gone by the names Griff and griffthemagicdragon in recent times. Not a huge poster but posted a lot more frequenly towards the end, a combination of an increase in work boredom and a need to argue with the WUMs! However, I really enjoy the in depth discussion on topics such as tactics, sports science, training, etc. as opposed to the topics on poaching, Henson's tan or 'my dad's bigger than yours'!
Looking forward to this site. I'm a Gwent Dragons season ticket holder and Wales fan, a former/current Newport fan (still interested in how they do but don't have the time to attend any games).
Don't mind some of the better WUMs as they were witty, but hopefully the mods will stop the ones that want to spoil things!
Peace.

Following on from that post by Carpe diem, Welcome Dum Spiro.
Were you on the old 606 with a different name?
And if so what was it and why did you change it?
answers are not compulsory ,but I ditched the "1" because I could.

Hello everyone, good work on the site, it looks sharp and (so far!) it doesn't set off the work fun blocker!
I had the same username on the old 606, live in London now and support Bath.
I will look forward to some wum-free debates with you all!

Brennomac has transferred
Hi - Brennomac from the old 606 - too lazy or too lacking in imagination to give myself a new moniker
Occasional contributor but daily reader of 606 - the joys of being self-employed and having no company firewall stopping me logging in! Mad Leinster and Ireland fan - but graciously willing to give full credit to my southern cousins when they roll us over - must be down to having a Da from Bandon and a Ma from Miltown Malbay! Good to see lots of old names have moved over to v2 - can't wait for greyghost, the baron and all the Welshie wums to join us!!
With rugby season over, back to usual Summer fare of vainly hoping the Dubs win an all-Ireland - God, 1993 and Jayo scoring the winning goal is a long time ago. Now we have a hurling team who declawed the Cats and hopefully will show our choker footballers how it's done. Having a Montrealer wife, also into ice hockey - Allez les Habs! Main passion outsisde rugby and de blues is hillwalking so if there are any rugbyites out there who fancy a walk I'm yer man

Re: Introduce yourself!
Alright? I'm breadvan, an old nickname from my time in the RN. Been on 606 since 2006 ish. Love having a laugh and telling wums were to go. Ospreys ST holder and fan of most sports. Football being my first love but became a union convert after coming and then eventually moving to Swansea a few yers ago. I'm usually the lone voice in the pub wearing white when England play but enjoy going to the MS to watch Wales. Just a normal average joe. Play a bit of squash, go out on the bicycle, enjoy the lash. Usual stuff.

Re: Introduce yourself!
I was a former member of 606, mainly reading posts rather than writing them. I'm a Worcester Warrior Supporter, also have a soft spot for Norhampton Saints mainly due to the young English talent they have.
As my fiancee is Welsh and a Scarlets supporter I have adopted them as my 'Magners league team'. Went to Uni in Aberystwyth between 1999-2002 and it was there that I fell in love with the game of rufby, haven't looked back since!

Hello all,
I used to post on 606 a very long time ago but became increasingly tired of the Trolls and used Gwlad and planet rugby as an alternative.

Maesteg, Nottins, and folks in general, the beauty of v2 so far has been that we've had plenty of great rugby chat without descending into personal abuse. It's a new site, and everyone should consider it a new start. Old 606 is dead so please don't dredge up the past.
If people do start wumming we'll stamp on it, until they do, PLAY NICE.

Hi folks I was roddersm before and still am.
I support Ulster and Ireland as well as the other Irish provinces when they're not playing ulster of course. Good to see so many ex-606ers on here and hopefully Cyril, Triangulation and Greyghost will show up on here to keep me awake at work.
Geoff was a fountain of Ravenhill knowledge so I hope he shows up too.

Hello I'm BATH_BTGOG and I was a former member of 606, I'm a huge rugby fan and I support Bath if anyone hasn't already guessed, but I'll watch and comment on most sports, I joined 606v2 a while ago but have only just started to comment on here.
I'm glad to see the site is being used by a lot of former 606ers
Well done guys
