First topic message reminder :

A warm welcome to the rugby members of this board.

However, you found us, it doesnt matter!

If you are an old 606er, then let us know who you were. If you have found us by some other means - tell us a bit about yourself.

So get mingling people!

Gretgael's the name.

Munster and Ireland fan first, after that I'll support all other Irish provinces.
I rarely posted on the old 606 but I enjoyed the debates and conversations, when they weren't being hi jacked by wums, so a lot of names here are familiar to me. Hopefully I'll start posting more and look forward to the banter.

Gretgael.

White Lightning, I assume Alan Donald is the reason you selected your name.

Well he's the man!

Dollop, the way I see it, anyone has knowledge about rugby, after all most of it is opniion based.

You don't always have to be right, it is your opinion, I often defend SA's rugby because it gets lots of criticism, especially the way they play.

Oh, I am also a front row. loose head prop. Hence Os du Randt is the man.

Ya biltongbok Alan Donald is the reason for that name if I had put a nickname or a name of my favourate rugby player I would have found my self in a lot of difficulty defending the player and myself. You know the big man of South African rugby John Philip Botha "The enforce".

English/Irish mongrel, born Ireland (Leinster) and outsourced to England at an early age. Feel Irish, but appreciate English rugby when it's done well. Love the underdog, forza Aironi!

Mostly lurked on the original 606. Currently doing an IT project in Tanzania, don't know where to after this.

Hi all, i'm The Rakish Brigand, an exiled Welshman in London. I freelance from home, so have plenty of time to peruse the forum but I used to read threads on the old 606 rather than actively contribute. I hope to get more involved here. Oh and I'm an Ospreys supporter too!

Morning Everyone

Some of you may know me from 6060

I am flyhalffactory, a fellow scot.... so yes my user name has an element of confusion!! it comes from a late autumn night spent with the one and only Max Boyce and another Welsh legend Phil Bennett, along one of my all time greats Andy Irvine they spent about 45 minutes drinking with 3 of us mere mortals. To be sat drinking and chatting (not only rugby but about life in general) with two rugby demi-gods and such a funny but genuine guy was something you would treasure for many a long while.

It started for me a close link with Scottish and Welsh sport in general but rugby in particular, and as such has shaped my personal and family life in so many ways.

Life long supporter of Musselburgh, Edinburgh, Scottish Rugby and .......Hibs

Also have a inclination towards the Ospreys and the Scarlets and the Welsh team having lived/worked during the working week from 2008-2011, now working as a s/employed consultant in the midlands and along the south west cost of England.

One querky point of interest I played against Gavin Hensons dad many many moons ago

I try to be as unbiased as possible, I like the passionate fans and posters, but dislike posters who run down a player in order to promote another

Thats me folks.......I hope to chat to my old friends and meet new ones in the future

Cheers FHF

This IS FRIENDLY, isn't it.

I was on 606 as Ospreylian1 ( someone else had registered without the "one" but rarely posted).
I am not the man who writes that stuff in the O's programmes.
Pooler was my very first rugby love, and still ranks high with me, but living in the Swansea Valley I made a choice for financial reasons to support the O's. I sit in the East stand row G seat 125, pop over and say Hi.
Sad, but I'm not interested in other sports.

Hi there Flyhalf, good you've joined.

Hallo all. MeanAsCustard calling!

Was a regular on ScrumV posting as 'Franklin' and was the ScrumV Entertainments Committee member for A.H.A.S. (a free chocolate digestive to the first person to identify what A.H.A.S. stands for).

A few years back my work took me to China and when I returned ScrumV was gone and 606 had arrived. I've just come back from Kuwait and... blow me, no more 606! Sorry guys - it's clearly my fault!

I'm a Northampton fan, Mum's an Ulster Woman and Dad's a Dubliner. Had a pretty lively Heineken Cup this year!

Hey folks, nice to see so many of the old 606 lot on here! I'm IanBru, which was my nickname at School (notoriously fond of a certain fizzy drink), and which my old rugby pals still call me. Scottish rugby is followed religiously in my family (my Mum honestly loves Chris Paterson more than me), and I'll support Edinburgh, Gloucester and London Scottish when I can afford tickets/travel.

I'm currently a law student in England, desperately looking for a training contract. You guys wouldn't happen to know anyone, would you..?

Played alot of rugby at school (SH and later FB) before knee and jaw injuries stopped me playing at Uni - Finally fit again, and back playing sevens this summer!! Woo hoo!!!

Looking forward to some nice high-minded discussion, and obviously, a Scottish win on 23 October...

Used to be 9975bill on the old 606, didn't post a whole lot. Stayed away more and more towards the end due to the WUM's.

Saints supporter although follow and watch all things union. Can take or leave League. Not been to a live game since Dec 2007 due to living in Canada (my visit's back to blightly tend to be emergency trips) and being able to discuss rugby on here helps keep me sane as the only sport Canadians understand is (Iced) Hockey.

Enjoy cricket, my Mum's family are from down the road from Trent Bridge and so a Notts / England fan. Occasionally post on the joypad section. Real life hobby is motorbikes, especially dirt biking.

Afternoon everyone!!

Was on 606 for couple of years under king_carlos and johno4pm beforehand, posted on and off depending on when I found time!

Good to see many of the old 606 names on here, anyone got any idea if the likes of Triangulation, Greyghost, Jericho etc have found their way here (probably with new names to disgrace!). They may have been a pain but their topics did occasionally produce some constructive debate!!

Hi,

I was nottins on 606 and I may have had another ID on there for the last year after I got banned for some reason.

Don't watch as much live rugby as I used to do, due to being out of work for 2 1/2 years and discovering Geocaching. Now back in work and have got the Sky Sports package again, along with Virgin XL TV which includes ESPN and ESPN classic, so looking forward to seeing replays of the old games, including a certain game in November 2003 ;-)

Nope. Posting facts isn't wumming unless you don't like the facts.
