Dylan Hartley Headbutt
First topic message reminder :
So it looks like Hartley is being hauled before another disciplinary committee for an alleged headbutt in last week's game against Saracens.
Here's a video of the incident:

If proven guilty he'll miss some of the August warmup games and, considering his lengthy record, potentially the World Cup itself.
Far from being the worst I've ever seen, he does plant his feet and lean in so I think they could claim intent.

I'm being facetious out of frustration, it wasn't meant as a serious post

Perhaps that was Hartley's problem. Jamie George is really Beshocked, and Dylan "the Chump" Hartley was frustrated with the discussions at scrum time about whether you should put the jam or the clotted cream on first.

Mine was rather tongue in cheek BamBam.
And definitely jam first.

Londontiger I think it's a bit unfair that you keep making jokes about George's weight (you've made jokes about it in the past). He might be big but it hasn't stopped him being surprisingly quick when he's neeed to be
rugby fan Yes Goode did play better than Abendanon IMO.
Bambam Of course players can play well in a losing cause
In the AP semi final I thought Saints' best player was Wood by some distance. If I was going to give ratings to Itoje and Wood (the opposite numbers on the day) Itoje would get 7, Wood 8.
Wood individually performed better than Itoje but it was Saracens backrow as an unit which did the damage.
Not that surprising really as Wood will expect to be starting 6 for England.
Another example of a player being one of the top players on the pitch in a losing cause was Monye vs Bath a few weeks ago.
He scored 2 tries and caused real problems for Bath.
