Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

When Rob Gronkowski is drafted 4th overall (and not by Olly) you know it is going to be a weird one!

I'm still gutted I couldn't nab Jordy Nelson and Kelvin Benjamin with consecutive picks on the turn and stick them straight onto IR for next year!

I really am hoping Jones, Cobb and Brown overcome all of the other flaws in the team. Air it out lads, bar Cam who would want to have a monster rushing season. The Rams will need a lot of luck to reclaim their crown from years ago. I've been given a mere 11.7% of making the playoffs. I certainly wouldn't give 11.7% a C+ though, but that's another issue.

Picking 11th overall in the opening round, Taxi for RG3 had a decent showing and delivered a team with playoff potential. They ended up with the most prolific threesome of running backs in the league.

I'm hoping Spiller will stay healthy but even if he does, I think the above summary is stretching the truth just a little.

So, an already disappointing Keeper league season for me (0-2 despite being the 4th highest scoring team in the league ), just took a major turn for the worse with the news that Big Ben has done his knee in.

Looks like I'll be scanning the dregs of free agent QBs in this week's waivers

Thats two bad decisions this week

Getting really frustrated with this now - that's me posted another good score this week - 101 points as things stand with Larry Fitz and Harvin still to complete their games and my kicker still to play and I'm still going to be 0-3 on Tuesday morning.

I keep running into guys when they're having stupid hot weeks. Once this week is in the can, I'll have had at least 410 points scored against me and it's only week bloody 3!!!

Time for another mad face....

That's 200 more than mikey's Hound Dogs and GB's Diddley Poos

BamBam and RDuncan8's teams are the only other ones to have even had more than 300 points scored against them!

It's not fair I tells ya! Go easy on me for a few weeks now lads eh?

If it makes you feel any better, I scored more against you in week 1 than I did in weeks 2 and 3 combined

I had Kaepernick starting the the West. I wait through all my teams Wednesday as well and thought I have benched him. I couldn't have clicked 'submit'. Nevermind. Hopefully Allen Robinson can get me a few more TDs in the second half at Wembley.

Damn, looks like Le'Veon Bell is done for a while with a knee injury.
