Re: Rome Masters 2016
Andy yet to concede a point in two service games.
Novak took 11 minutes to get out of his service game. Already looking irritated.

Novak been incredibly irritable all week. Is the RG pressure really starting to hit him?

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Well well... Novak gets broken, throws his raquet on the ground, and it spins onto a spectator in the stands!
A warning, but that frankly was probably a default

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Djokovic with a court violation for smacking his racquet about after only 4 games.
He annoys me when he's like this.
Murray looking pretty sharp though.

Re: Rome Masters 2016
This will be a tremendous boost for Murray if he can win this. I am sure he remembers the tight match he had with Djokovic last year at Roland Garros and the fact Djokovic hasn't beaten him on Grass. That said I think Djokovic is over stretching himself with his efforts at the Masters.

Re: Rome Masters 2016
Murray serving below 40% first serves in, and yet looks rock solid on serve so far. How's that for evidence of an improved second serve?

1st set Muzza, and were likely taking a rain break with that

Easiest set that Andy has taken off Novak for years.

Still playing, but the clay is starting to get sticky. Both guys struggling to move properly, and novaks ankle looks a bit sore

No wonder Novak is niggly though, he must be knackered mentally and physically.

Hmmm well he can only blame himself for not being more clinical against the likes of Stephane Robert and Thomas Bellucci and adding an extra two hours alone to his court time. In any case in this clay court season I'd say he maybe has played less matches than Murray.

Re: Rome Masters 2016
His is no more than a victim of his own success.
It has to happen at sometime unless he is a machine
But let us not forget that Andy is giving his all ... if this should go to a third set then Novak I would think will be on the wire.

As opposed to facing Nadal and Nishi back to back? Easy for a mental midget like Murray facing a collection of stiffs enroute to the final.CaledonianCraig wrote:lydian wrote:No wonder Novak is niggly though, he must be knackered mentally and physically.

It flashed up at 36% during his penultimate service game of the first set. No idea what it finished at.
I can't remember the last time I saw Novak this tense. Looks like he's about to blow at any minute.

Like I pointed out earlier - Murray has nothing to prove if you look at the tough draw he came through in Madrid to reach the final.

Murray lacks any sort of skill. Playing in the rain making Murray's mediocre game look half decent.

Djokovic not wanting to play in the rain is lolz for anyone who remembers RG 2012 final where he practically begged to stay on court

You do realise that pretty much all wumming is disguised as opinion? It's the repetitive nature of the comments which make clear the guy is a wum.
