England fortunate that Aus missed kicks at goal, and that they were able to capitalise on some silly errors. Now England have started playing better they command a healthy lead, and look well in control to me.

You know when I read that comment I said to myself "GF clearly doesn't watch much rugby, making a comment like that when guys like AWJ exist." Delusional Geordie .
I'll happily stick with having Itoje and Kruis thank you, nobody is more over rated than AWJ.
Except for Laucnbury. It's not often you bill all your players as world class now is it....

I haven't said either of them are world class, merely stating I think both are in far better form than AWJ and wouldn't swap them.

It has been a feisty game but the ref really hasn't controlled it well - he's got to be a lot more dominant. He's not got control!

Wow a yellow card in the scrum. That's very different to last year.

I agree they're in better form, but AWJ hasn't been that world class this season because of carrying his injury... .
Anyway, more stuff going England's way. They still have a good lead.

up by 3 scores now. time to hold on to the ball and continue to grind the Wallabies down. Tales good advantage of the man advantage.

Killed us whilst a man down. They just shouldn't be able to find space like that when a man down but just too quick for us.
Hooper has been their stand out player. All over us.

Robshaw not quite fast enough to stop that try. I'd like to see Clifford come on now

In some ways a defeat when you came back from such a shambolic start will be more painful but it is good to know they at least competed and are developing.

Absolute. Bad play. The defense is still screwing up when stretched right and left. Something to work on.Rugby Fan wrote:Criminal to allow a try when you have a man advantage.

Australia staying close enough that this is going to come down to which team can run out the eighty minutes.
But realistically England are only one score away from wrapping it up , surely ?

Haskell has been excellent in mist if the games under Jones. He gives him basic tactics of brutal physicality....not thinking about much. It works.

Suppose the Aussies are well capable of two tries in ten minutes...
But on tonight's evidence can they convert them both ? Should convert this one so a seven point game...

Just 7 points now. England must score again or this one will be an Aussie win,
