Woods impact on the sport in Ireland and globally maybe bigger but Best maybe the better player

Was actually looking at the stats earlier in the week, ROG scored 15 in his career, David Humphreys scored 8 and Sexton has 2 to his name. Even BOD scored 5

Wood played in a different time. Less discipline, more off-the-cuff explosiveness. Cronin is more a Wood type player. Rory just gets through so much work and when you think of the neck injury he had years ago - to come back from that and to play so much of his rugby now in a version of rugby that has become much more physical and brutal, I'm delighted for him that he has had the notable scalps this year. His name in the history books is assured.

A win today and that's the clean sweep of  the big 3 Southern Hemisphere teams this year.

Ringrose always looks like he's found half a yard, great running lines.

That could be a red. It's on an Irishman though so it won't be.

I mean, I do think a red would have been harsh. Just saying that I've seen that be a sending off offence.

To be honest I'm glad that was a yellow, but I've no doubt it would have been a red had it been from us.

Australia look far more dangerous with the ball. Its a good thing Irelands pack is so dominant but 10 point lead for that dominance is worrying for the second half. The pack can't afford to ease off.

Very disappointing. That tackle on Carberry was worse than Sexton's on Barrett last week as well, given Carberry was actually standing up straight when he was hit.

Real shame - that kick stays in-field and Ireland go in at least 17 nil up

That's one heck of a core of players to lose. Very experienced too. Mostly getting on though so maybe good to look at future options?
