Nolan is a class act. Ashley is a nob. He must have been in dreamland when Liverpool bought Carroll for big bucks without time to spend it. The man is a disgrace.

Hello guys, Driver knows about this and also a few others who play the ERL game know about my idea aswell. For the other guys who don't play the ERL game I am trying to start a Rugby Legends Game on this website, it's like this game and the ERL game but you are allowed to sign players from the 1980's to 2010. For the people on the ERL game, and this Aviva Premiership game, if you would like to join you get first digs, meaning that the game will be open for all of you first.

Please take a look at that link and the rules page first, if im able to get 10 managers I will set a few other links up aswell such as the table, fixtures and foreign and domestic transfer pages.

Alright was just asking in case they haven't been on today and to tell them there is only three vacancies left.

Guys I'm struggling to get on here during the day, my work internet connection is a nightmare, lets me access PM's but I cant post on the main boards at all. So if anyone wants to do any deals between 7am-6pm then PM me! If I'm a bit slow on getting back to anyone at the moment, then its because I am having to do a lot of work on the film, so can't always get on these boards unfortunately.

gutted we've missed out on nolan, would be a good replacement for danny murphy who i think is past it. sidwell / nolan would be a decent partnership.

Why's he retiring? Saw an article in Rugby World (I think) about all the retirements that are taking place, was surprised how many there have been over the last 12 months or so, rugby is really taking its toll on people now.

Seemed to be very few in the Premiership though compared to ohter leagues - wonder if its time to start putting a limit on the number of games a player can play in a season as a global rule?

The amount of work that goes into a professional rugby player is ridicoulous.

We had one session last year where our fitness guy said we would be doing what a AP player would be doing in the morning of a pre season fitness day. I very nearly collapsed. Couldn't move for days!!

I am not at all surprised players are retiring. there bodies must be like car crashes.

Steven I know exactly what you mean there, at university I played at a really high level, had trials for a few AP teams and the training they made you do was unbelievable. Spent three seasons doing it and I was training Monday, Tuesday, match Wednesday, then training again Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Sunday was the rest day. Sure I'm still aching 6 years later.

The hits these guys take is frightening - remember playing against the Fijian 7s team and tackling one of them and it was like running into a wall - just solid muscle. Its crazy these days.

Somerville going is a shame...brought on PDJ and hopefully Harden in the Glos front row, would have loved to see him come back.

Drats sounds like Stevens, Tuilagi and Simpson are all making the England WC squad. That's me screwed for the first two months. Corbs loses place for Stevens, Simpson third scrum half, but not sure who Tuilagi is going to replace...good old Wasps sources!

Apparently for the few doubtful squad players they have given them saxons and others Warm up games.

JSD, tuilagi, robson, corbs and a few others will all be given a chance. Also think they may take a look at Botha in second row and maybe Narraway and Paice.

Will be interesting. Anyone going to the England vs Wales warm ups?? I am going to both. ticketmaster selling them and quite cheap in all honesty.

Johnson is fairly conservative and will not take a bolter. He obviously likes trinder and twelvetrees but of those only twelve trees has the maturity but does not have the game time.

Trinder will not go as he gets turned over all the time and is suspect physically. After a preseason i doubt i will ever say that against him again. Gloucesters conditioning is excellent. Said it about Allen, Sharples and many others before and then the next season Bam they are bigger and better and
ready for regular prem games. Would love to see tuilagi as an impact sub in WC. would love to see a 13 with hands in the squad more though.

Our back 3 can win games but our midfield will not create without a 13 with an outside break. opposition defence can drift knowing tindall will not burn them and if he does cannot pass to finish the move, we will be solid thorugh the middle though.
