Agree with that, think I'd throw Servat, Bruno, Tincu and Ledesma into top scrummaging hookers. Brian Moore must bust a vein when he sees Brits!

For me Bdp is miles ahead of anyone else. Then I would have mealamu/ Moore who i am a huge fan of
Servat is wc but was poor last year. All of France's frOnt row were average or injured last year. Ml does not help as coach.
On form if all performing I would have 1 bdp 2 servat/Moore 3 mealamu/hartley.
Who is everyone's favourite player of all time???
Mine is mike Teague took England 5 years too long to find him as glos were unpopular. Bath offered him England place and money in amateur era

He is the key to Oz's World Cup chances. If he plays well with his mind away from goal kicking then the quality he has outside him will be very difficult to stop. Him ,Genia and JOC mean Oz have a very bright future.

Love to see Cooper, JOC at 10/12. Tim Horan thinks that combo would rip teams to shreds, think it's JOC's best position but injuries may force him on wing.

Lachie Munro at fault for both Reds tries
Ridiculous attempt at a pass for the intercept, and a woeful attempt at a tackle on Cooper for the second.
If Lam had any confidence in Brett or McAlister as kicker he wouldn't be in the team.

Payne had a shocker as did Brett. Cooper was magic as per usual Shame about the goal kicking.
Can't see past a Reds win next week, especially at Home. Genia and Cooper know the pitch to well and the confidence built up by the Reds won't easily be knocked down.
Rocket Rod Davies won't be easily stopped either. Ioane had a great game as well

I keep changing my mind with regards to the Oz Backline. Now I'd go for
9. Genia
10. Cooper
11. Ioane
12. JOC
13. Faainga
14. AAC
15. Beale
With Cooper moving to the blindside wing in defence with everyone moving in one as each person is used to defending in the position inside them. in that backline. Cooper, Beale and Ioane/AAC would be lethal in running back kicks. Cooper's work for Tapui's try today was something else.

Good backline, wouldn't have Fa'ainga there myself. Would have AAC at 13 and maybe Turner or another on the wing. Giteau on bench covering 9/10/12.

Faainga has been the form centre for Australia and is solid as a rock defensively that's why I'd have him there. I don't like AAC at Centre but I wouldn't be surprised to see him play there.
I think Barnes' sabatical could be a blessing for Aus if they move JOC to 12. Think he could be lethal there

Still not convinced with Cooper, dont doubt that he can do things on a pitch that no one else can do, but he still makes so many mistakes and if you watch a game he gets away with quite a few forward passes to. If he can work on his flaws - goalkicking and tackling then he will go down as a great.
His brilliant moments always outshine his mistakes - seems to be getting more brilliant moments in games now though! Best attacking 10 I have ever seen though. If he can guide Reds to the Super 15 title next weekend then he'll go up in my estimation - though still see Carter as the complete 10.
favourite players of all time:
forwards - Richard Hill
backs - Will Greenwood

He has been getting better, but I've seen Cipriani dump tackle Tuilagi on a one on one before doesnt mean he's getting better at tackling
Cooper's tackling wont ever lose them games, as he creates more than he concedes and that's what I would always focus on with him playing in this game - how effective is he in the rain though, would imagine he loses a lot of his good qualities in attack and he can be a bit more exposed? Havent seen enough of him in the wet and muddy conditions though to form an opinion

Fa'ainga is a quality player but much more suited to 12, doubt he'll play 13 for Aus. Cooper is great but nowhere near Carter, he'll never be rated anywhere close until he learns to kick at goal.

Re: Homepage - Page 2
I don't see why a fly half has to kick at goal. Stephen Larkham is one of the all time greats and he didn't kick at goal.
Goal kicking shouldn't be the mark of a players rugby ability. Of course its a plus but its not a large factor in whether a player is world class. The things Cooper can do with a rugby ball in his hands is fantastic and the fact that he is a 65 - 70 % kicker doesn't affect that.
I would like to see Crusaders v Reds but I can't see past a Home win. Sure I heard that a Super rugby semi final hasn't been lost by a Home side since 1999!

I agree with Steve here , a fly halfs job is getting his outside backs moving and at the moment Cooper does this with out a doubt better than anyone on the planet. Dan Carter isn't the strongest kicking 10 in the world but is still rated as the best fly half in world rugby the man can only kick it off his left foot.
Fly halfs wise i'd go this order as the best in the world
1.Quade Cooper
2.Dan Carter
3.Franscois Trin-Duc - So underrated
4.Juan Hernandez
5.Johnny Sexton
6.Nick Evans
7.Matt Giteau
8.Morne Steyn
9.James Hook
10.Butch James

Re: Homepage - Page 2
JMH has played about 3 games at FH in 2 years....Cooper had priced nothing at 10 can't believe people put him above Carter!
1. Carter
----------------
The rest is a mix up of Evans, Wilko, Cooper, Giteau, Sexton. Don't think T-Duc is quite at that standard, I'd have a little further behind with Steyn and Butch.
I'm in total amazement people are rating Cooper above Carter. Carter is the complete player, Steyn is individual with moments of brilliance.....he has serious flaws to his game that stop him being world class never mind better than one if the greatest fly halfs of all time!

That's fair enough that's an opinion and a common one at that. How do you mean Cooper had priced nothing at 10?? Is it a typo or am I just missing something obvious?
I have a similar thing with people seeing Nick Evans as a World class 10. yes he's brilliant in the Prem and has had a few good games in the HC but he hasn't played international rugby since 07 and only has 15 caps. I like him but wouldn't have him near Cooper, Carter, Steyn, Giteau etc

It was proved nothing at 10 Steve....damn IPhones!
Not sure Cooper has done too much over Evans myself on the Int scene. Steyn is a different case as he is only as good as the pack in front of him, great tactical FH though.
I think we look for different things in players Steve, I like a player to nail his basics first and other things are a bonus. I could never class a prop who couldn't scrummage as world class etc, horses for courses though.
Can see how you younger lads see Cooper as the best about as he's redefining play slightly but give me a top basics flyhalf anytime, just different views I guess.

My view is that if the Reds get parity in the set piece then they will win the game. I don't think they will get thtat though so it will be very tight.
I am at T in the Park next weekend so will miss it and won't be on here till I've watched the recording as I don't want to see the score.
Very much looking forward to the boxing tonight as well. Always some sport to watch throughout the year (thank god)
