Slightly off topic...

I was just driving down a quiet street this evening... well and truly dark but there was some street lighting.

I naturally slowed down as I approached a pedestrian crossing. Not a person in sight though.

Then I noticed a ginger and white cat sitting neatly (as cats do) to one side of the crossing. When I stopped (I swear) it looked at the car and then casually walked across... right in the middle of the stripes. Like a school kid trying to do the right thing.

It was also there when I came back about 20 mins later. Just lurking by the crossing. Caught a glimpse of it in the shadows. However this time it chose not to cross the road. It must have some idea that the crossing is a much safer place. It's right outside a primary school so it probably observes the kids crossing there in droves every day.

Having a lend of me do you think... or just obeying the rules?

That cat here is intelligent no doubt. Unfortunately, many do end up in a bad way. Hope this one survives to live a long life.

I saw some spectacular road kill today. Once was a possum... but all I could see was a mass of quite bright orange and red and tufts of fur. It was quite fresh.

I see Trump will be arriving at Stansted shortly. The NATO press Q&A session was most bizarre. He got Russia and China mixed up. And thought Hard Brexit was "heart breaker". Also referred to Ireland as part of the UK. He's doing a great, great job... so great in fact.

She doesn't, I'm not sure that would be a very safe thing to do. The best solution is just to leave the cat alone unless she does the approaching. I'm probably making her out to be worse that she is (the cat) as she is quite a sweet-natured animal, just has a sporadic psychosis. She's been pretty good with the baby despite his continual harassment of her, he finally pushed her too far on Sunday and got a gentle claw in the face. Galtova and Galtichka didn't find it as funny as I did.

Just realised since I've been doing airbnb for nearly a year, I've hosted about 12 different types of religious believers from over 20 countries... and I've come to the conclusion that we're all the same... us people. Generally speaking of course. That's slightly disappointing actually.

Luckily I've only had to break up one fight... between American "sisters". Like a pair of hissing cats between the SUV and the fence.
Their mom put it down to a long flight and delays in airports. She said it had been a very long day. I said don't worry. Forget about it.
