Mike Brown Breaks Quins Cap Record
Mike Brown is the new Harlequins all time cap holder with 308 appearances.
He's a bit marmite on here but you have to admit it's an impressive record! And he still has years left in him.
He's had some memorable games and seasons for Quins, including big performances and Tolouse, Munster and Sarries in the past. As well as his memorable display and post match celebration in the Challenge Cup final win.
Congrats Mike!

It's a great record in this day and age. Especially given the injuries of the modern game.
For perspective he wouldn't make the Tigers top 10 though. Wells is 10th on 367. Different times. Rowntree retired in 2007 and managed 398.

Jeez I was curious about other clubs caps. Didn't realise some had racked up so many!
I guess there won't be any Tigers getting close to those records these days though.

Dan Cole might. The young lad Heyes looks a solid tighthead at 19 so if he can stay injury free he could end up with quite a few (international commitments dependent).
Quite frankly we could do with shipping out a lot of the dross in the squad at present.
It'll be tough for many players to reach 300 given the injuries and attrition rate of rugby currently. Keeping form in the way Brown has for so long is also an impressive feat in itself.
