Ireland 5 just went straight past the ruck to block 2 defenders that weren't even in the ruck - why no pen for that after the one for Scotland?

How come Ireland can go 20m and it not be advantage over? The game was stopped on the 22 and the penalty was on halfway!

What absolute rubbish. Ireland go from their ten metre line to the Scottish 22, but the advantage isn't over.

I thought the one on Strauss was fair enough. He lost the ball forward after SOB released his hold.RDW wrote:This ref has strange interpretation of knock ons

All Edinburgh players missed him by the looks of it. They need to step up to Glasgow's level.
EDIT: Curse you Big bad Bob. You've ruined my windup.

Interesting, after all the fuss in the week, that the pass to Earls travelled a few metres forward. Not actually a forward pass I hasten to add (as with last week)

Loved Laidlaw stepping on their hands , they should reintroduce it to the game.

If anything that was more debatable as by the time he passed it he was running more laterally so there was less momentum effect and his hands weren't as obviously passing it backwards ...

Away try bonus point wins are the new all-kicked home win.

Scotland will be hurting after this because the game was there to be won, but too many errors at critical times cost them. Ireland did enough, but they were still well below their best.
