It was -20 so a light windbreaker was required.
Although one of my mates decided that -20 at the top of the Rockefeller Centre was t-shirt weather. He's about 23 stone so his walrus like blubber was causing him to overheat.

Good start to the week, Rick. I particularly like the way you used 'fit right in' instead of 'fitted right in' in much the way an American might.

We've had an IKEA open about a ten minute walk from our flat. The traffic before was infamously terrible so might buy myself a Torholmen lounger and watch the road rage from a shady spot on the pavement.

Hmm, I think you are right, and you are right about the comma.
I need a question where the answer ends in a "C" which can't be too tricky (the next question begins with a "C")

Cheers, I think my brain has just turned off today.
The Sting question is a goodie, though I can just see some questions flying back at me! I will use that at some point though. The Bangles one is probably best suited, plus I generally struggle to fin music questions to ask from my own brain.
Cheers for the help!

Sad about Gordon Banks. He had great hands... but most of his bones in both hands were broken multiple times.
I read that in a book years ago next to a picture of him with those mutton chop sideburns. A true legend. RIP

Not too bad mate, lots of voluntary redundancies here at the moment, so lots of people just cocking around waiting to go, which always makes for a strange atmosphere.
I am not eligible so having to actually do some work.
Barring that, all good.

Yes, a sign of the ever-changing times with people hired for specific contract work for a limited time... and all the uneasy chatter from people who aren't happy in their roles. It has to come to a head inevitably. Pretty cut throat world isn't it?

Indeed it is, which is why I tend to be very mercenary when it comes to jobs, and don't hang around for too long unless beneficial, it is a shame, but such is life.
Happily, my boss is offski, nice enough dude, but fairly old school when it comes to contract negotiations and dealing with third parties, and sharing information internally, so wont be sad to see him go.

Interesting political times here. Again.
A huge can of worms has been unnecessarily opened by the ALP over border control.
The LNP Government was just about dead in the water (no pun)... but now it has been handed a 6-pack of Lifesavers it seems.
Why would you do that? People are pretty sensitive about this issue and now it's back... front and centre.

They tend to melt in this heat, rick... although it's not so hot today.
Dolph, it's better to source your own premium brand of Bourbon and drink at home. A pity it's not Japan where you can leave your bottle at the bar.
The stuff you got (in a W'gong pub I presume; not in Dapto I hope!) was probably a poor bourbon substitute. They don't give a sh*t in some places. Notice how it's mostly all crap local beer on tap... with some experimental boutique brews which can be either hit or miss.
You need to head into some of the funkier bars in Sydney... near the Quay especially. They'll have the right poison for you.

Yeah, they don't know how to cut corners. They are so proud of their local sakes too.
Although I thought I wouldn't like the taste... it tasted great and went down so well. Such a smooth way to get smashed once in a while.
