Year is bang average so far, mate, which TBH is not bad going.

It goes well, peej, I have friends up from the South/midland area this weekend, which I am looking forward to, and I have finally eased my way into 2020.

Hope so. The arrival of the monsoon season oop north has certainly changed the atmospheric conditions over the continent.
There's a lot of humidity in the air now and lots of thunder too which the experts are quick to point out will result in more lightning strikes... and possibly more fires they say. You can never really win it seems.

It has all been fairly mild here, you can tell, as they have been touting quite strong winds as mega storms for a few weeks now, so you know feck all has happened weather wise.

These spate of recent deaths (Jules, Shah, Dolphin) are slowing things down.  They will all bounce back though.  Not like Tina and Jeff - the dicks.

Disappointed to miss out on a tird. Some strong early work today and always good to see that Jules has risen.

What does the weeks end hold for you, chaps?

Providing the usual taxi services to young children and hiding out in the kitchen.

Off to Hamburg with a few mates in 3 weeks so staying off alcohol until then so that my liver has a fighting chance. Doesn't half make the evenings pass slowly.

I'd ask what you're up to, but the general lack of responsibility and the freedom to please yourself (fnar fnar) will depress me.

I almost got dragged North of the border as a friend down here is off to Watch Bonnyrigg Rose but politely declined.

I intend to spend it alternating between sleep and Far Cry but it's more likely to involve me following the missus around B&Q and restraining our offspring when he tries to get at the paint tins.

5, having a (literal) blast.

I enjoyed 5, ending was a bit odd, but the gameplay mechanics were on point.

And the getting kidnapped in each area bit is a pain.

I haven't even started 1 yet. I'm a far cry from 5.
