Thanks, but I ruined it by mis-spelling 'rules'. That has really ruled me.

Must have been a decent sized one judging from the shrapnel marks on the wall near his car. Looks totally puckered with cricket ball sized holes.

Well played, Rick. Don't mind playing sicond fiddle to such an early fist, sometimes you just have to sit back and admire.

Was decent thanks. Not too many lie-ins with a 2-year-old stuffing toys and remote controls into my face but had a good time.

Excellent, mine too, my parents seem to have lost any sense of time as they decided to come up last Thursday and Friday thinking I was off work for some reason, so a bit of juggling to do, but barring that, all cool in the pool.

Managed to avoid going out for New Year's again which was a bonus. Discovered the PlayStation Dec/Jan sales a bit too late to properly enjoy the festive season though.

Lots of people planned lots of things but everyone just ended up in the local, which was nice.
I played Luigi's mansion on the switch, great game, and finished off the borderlands DLC, just picked up Outer Worlds from a mate so will crack on with that at some point.
Though quite looking forward to Goat simulator as a free game this week.

Thought I'd clicked on Daily Mash or Rochdale Herald when I read about the Goat simulator, was quite surprised to see it was for real.

It was a game on PC made as a joke that kind of got a cult following and then turned fairly big, it is a laugh to play with mates.

I'm located too near Aberdeen to safely Google "goat simulator" at work, so will have to wait until later to find out what it is.

Super_Realist on the golf board really is the worst type of c*ntslice. I don't know why I keep going back to argue with him - other than I think he genuinely gets wound up and I can imagine his pompous indignation as he hammers away at the keyboard. He was getting worked up about Stormzy wearing slippers yesterday.

Crazy times, U OK Hun?
In other news I just saw a genuine advert for a reverse paid internship, where you were asked to pay them $15 an hour to work there, this made me quite irritated, but I wouldn't stoop to "oaf"

I'm no legal expert but if you simultaneously worked for one of their competitors surely you'd be working negative hours and they'd have to pay you for it?

Alas not, you would then get fired and have to pay them severance.

Makes as much sense as any of the rest of the employment contract.

It looks mental over there at the moment mate so I am glad you are not a koala.
Your PM is coming across as a bell end (not like we have any room to talk) as well.
Nothing new here, same shizz different sewer coming into busy time of the year getting contracts sorted before tax year end.
Football is still rubbish...

Glad I'm not a koala. Don't think our fauna will recover quickly. It will never be the same again.
He's bumbling through damage control now. Would have been better if he had cancelled the Hawaiian holiday, put the religious Bill to one side (he's a Pentecostal fanatic), got out to a fire front asap and acted like a genuinely concerned human being. None of that "thoughts and prayers" stuff every second sentence. That really angers many people. They want immediate action and some $$ to rebuild their lives.
As our former Treasurer, he's so obsessed with balancing the budget, so it was like trying to get blood from a stone in announcing the $2B assistance package. He was so slow in fully understanding the scale of it all and responding to such a desperate situation. Some people have lost everything and the fires have been well out of control since around 10 December. He also lacks the hands on skills of our former fire-fighting PM... who was there in the blink of an eye... and who is also a modern day religious zealot (a Jesuit in his case). It just doesn't add up does it?
I've had football. All codes just about.
It just doesn't excite me like it used to. Maybe it's something to do with the types of people involved and all that gambling associated with it now.
I find it all quite repulsive. Give me a slippery and muddy pitch any day over these safe ones. It was more enjoyable to watch those sliding tackles.
