Not seen either, superfly but they both look interesting.
Some halfwit with a long haul just took out a Give Way sign near here. I was quick to take a snap of the Qld license plate and I sent it off to the NSW Roads & Traffic Department. Good deed for the day done.

Hopefully it will be on outback truckers... Mrs D seems obsessed with that show for some reason.

"Associated Grains" was on the side. Quite a nice logo. Tell Mrs D to keep an eye out for them.

Galted reporting. Situation normal, currently part of a very long and beautifully-spaced queue outside t'Waitrose.

We, apparently have bread making ingredients here, which is great, but I did a quick mental double take when Mrs D said whe had found yeast.

Sicond again.
How are you Rick? That was an odd weekend indeed. Adapting well to whatever we're not supposed to be doing.
Leaving the phone at home if I have to duck out for something essential. I don't want to have all of my movements passed onto the Stasi here.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Morning, peej, the peak of the weekend was a computer generated horse race.
Apart from that, fairly chill, made a pizza from scratch for the first time, which worked out kind of OK, but must improve.
Helped Mrs D sort her island out in Animal Crossing.
We are getting lots of reports in The North, of Londoner's flouting the ban in public parks, be interesting to see if The South is getting similar reports of The North.

Must admit I'm a little confused with what's happening as regards to outdoor activities. I saw all the news footage. Surely if people keep their distance and don't linger around in open spaces too long it should be OK. But then the rules are the rules... however draconian they may be.
I've noticed they are more heavy handed in certain areas around here (mostly in tourist spots) and in Qld and WA of course. They've always been a little suspicious of the rest of us. It seems WA got their wish for a secession of sorts... it's completely shut off from the rest of Oz now.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I go out for a run most days and that seems to be fine, people are getting stopped and fined in cars, fairly inconsistent here also.
I guess the danger is that you could become too draconian if rules are highly specific, people need a modicum of self governance I guess.
I thought I would be doing more around the house, but here we are, dicking around on the computer and catching up with reading.

Did another phase of clean up yesterday and moved onto all things paper. Feels good. Have sorted into categories today and will go through with a finer tooth comb tomorrow ready for Tuesday bin night. Will shred some things but good luck to anyone who is willing to sift through it all.

Me and me mates Bazza, Dazza, fat Steve and Big Mad Mikey smashed the coronavirus this weekend. We was p*ssing it up and 'aving a Pro Ev tournament 'cos no c*nt tells us what to do. On Saturday we was in the park 'aving one of them barbecues and this bird comes up and says 'ere, why aren't yous all iso-lating?' and Dazza says 'why don't you iso-late on this?' and shows 'er 'is knob. Dopey cow ran off bawling. None of us was dead this morning so what's the f*cking problem?

Petty much stay at home for me. Get through some movies / documentaries I've saved.
Just ducked down to The Woolies. It's the first time I've seen a queue outside with numbers limited inside. Everybody looks so glum... like it's the end of the world or something.

Tird.
Last day of work and then off until the 20th. We were supposed to be heading off to a remote cottage next week which would have been perfect for social distancing (over a mile to the nearest house) but we have postponed it as don't fancy the public shaming if we were pulled over by the police.

Ridiculous really, Supes. Some politician here has been shamed for going to his remote weekender and the Premier might even have to force him to resign. A bit like your Chief Medical Officer's fiasco except this bloke is our Minister for the Arts & General Deception Gone Wrong.
Is that the rock climbing one? Will check it out. I heights.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
The problem with the CMO here in Scotland is that she was specifically responsible for delivering the "Stay at Home" message and also that where she was visiting wasn't particularly remote. There could have been a real danger of her or her family bringing the virus into the area.
There would also have been existing tensions with the locals hacked off at the middle classes usually clogging up their streets at the weekends ehen visiting their second homes.

Yes, I saw her delivering that message standing next to Sturgeon. I guess what I mean is that I would prefer to have a little more than half my TV screen filled up with her mug than Sturgeon's. However upon googling her and having a closer look at her face... yes, the correct decision was made to resign.

Charge it to some client.
Had a couple of glasses of red with a few brandy chasers listening to some live music on youtube. I feel a bit smashed. Don't drink that often.

I used to work with a bunch of Aussies and Kiwis in a factory about 20 years ago. Whenever one of us went for a crap we'd keep a record of the time spent and the amount of logs pushed which we used to calculate the total cost to the company and the cost per turd. Can't remember what the total got to but the cost was about 50p per turd if I remember correctly.
