Your women's team played well in Dunedin today. The Kiwis lost again.
The final match is on Sunday but your gals have already wrapped up the series after 3 days.
Goodness me... 51,000 posts. That's ridiculous.
51000? Anybody higher? And a month after your 10th anniversary on here. Where was the party?

Oh - and 5,100 posts a year means 13-14 posts a day, every day.
Just realised that I must of hit 10K in the last few weeks.

There used to be a bloke from Hull called King Kenny on here. Don't know if you remember him? Quite a character. We'd go berserk on some of the Quiz and Games threads. Lucky (Luckless Pedestrian) used to be involved in it too. I was known as Linebreaker back then. Then The Loaded Dog for a while.
I think KK was going through some tough times and his missus gave him the ultimatum: It's either the v2 Sports Forum or me... take your pick!

He obviously made the wrong choice!
I remember the Linebreaker and Loaded Dog ID's. Seeing as I mainly kept/keep to the rugby forums there are plenty of people I don't know at all despite being here for almost 10 years.

PJ is top of the 'most posts' list, nearly 3000 ahead of Good Golly I'm Olly. Kenny is still in third despite not having been on the site for over 5 years.

In the short gaps allowed between the masterclass in the art of creative whistle blowing there was some very good stuff from both sides. I am sorry but I can't help feeling livid about the result though.

Was going to post that this Welsh side are the luckiest Triple Crown winners of all time on the Rugby boards, but I don't fancy the resulting death threats.

I wouldn't normally admit it but they are a decent team, luck alone won't give you the wins, but yes they have been very lucky.
As Napoleon once said (in obviously faultless English) 'I'd rather have lucky generals than good ones'.

It's an easy mistake to make, so I won't hold it against you or his publisher. But the delivery of the tirade would suggest that it is 'can not' as the emphasis is on the 'not'.

I haven't had it and given that my mum (who is 73 and has underlying health difficulties) only got her jab 10 days ago - I'm not expecting to get it any time soon.

I think it depends where you are. I and the wife had our 1st jabs (Pfizer) last Thursday
The good news is that the infection rates are dropping very fast. The bad that there are always new mutations, and the latest one to hit the headlines, a Brazilian variant that may not be covered by the vaccines, seems to have managed to get into the UK despite our new quarantine regulations and 'world beating' track and trace.

Saturday for me. I'm jazzed up to find out what version I get. I'm hoping for Oxford/AZ, then I can laugh at the Pfizer mob. No idea why I've been selected seeing as I haven't been in hospital for myself since I was born and I'm also a Man of the North so don't get ill.
I'm also dead so it all seems a waste of time but I will go and have it anyway.
