Mainly marvel but quite a lot of 2000AD and a smattering of DC
I had about 60 editions of White Dwarf with edition numbers below 100.
I still keep my eye on White Dwarf and occasionally have BatReps on in the background whilst working away as it requires little to no attention.
More of a lore guy than a game guy now though.

Marvel from the 70s and 80s are generally more desirable than DC. Everything depends on condition though for the big bucks.
Yep, most of my "serious" collection is stored correctly, the stuff at my dads will be my well read comic collection, there are quite a few decent ones in there such as first deadpool in New Mutants etc. but my "Hulk 181" and such comics are under lock and key

I sold some stuff a while back for decent money. Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke - all first printings. That wasn't via my website, they were from my own collection.

Does it have the embossed cover with the acid green lettering?
I bought the deluxe re-coloured edition to replace the one I sold.

I've got a mint condition last ever edition of Roy of the Rovers. Surely worth millions?

My boys sort of went through a GW phase but are already out the far end. They are (or will eventually be) into black powder/ Napoleonic stuff instead.

I've got a copy of John McEnroe's biography, should be worth a fortune due to the grammatical error in the title.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
You can come to my house and take all my dad's books away, we still have a room in the house we can't use because it's full of proofs, first editions and other things he has thought would be valuable over the years of working in bookshops and the British Library.
Someone I play football with has apparently sent an Erling Haaland Topps card over to New York to be sold at auction, with a hope it may get around 50k. Which led to a friend of mine boasting last night that he has a record that Bjork released in 1977, which he reckons will be worth a lot one day.

He's doing a better job lately, but there are probably a few thousand books in this house. I wouldn't dream of telling him what to do with them, but I think giving him your website address might be enough to count as a Mother's Day present, she is endlessly frustrated by his collecting. I think they're his retirement. But if you ever get a call from a bloke near Ely...

Suddenly sicond.
How are you lost?
I've always meant to ask... you moved to Wales how long ago? I assumed your username implies you are English (by origin) but crossed over the Severn, got lost and never returned (and still long for home). However, on closer analysis, you could simply be a Welshman who 'feels' lost 'at home' in Wales.

I am good thanks PJ. Life certainly has its challenges it feels as if there are some better times ahead.
Definitely not Welsh. Moved to wales (Swansea) about 15/16 years ago. Moved to the hills just outside Manchester just over 8 years ago just never changed the label (In fact I think you offered to arrange that many years ago). The Welsh move didn't work out. I have views on Wales which have moderated over the years since leaving and are not really worth repeating but I will say it felt much more foreign than I would ever have believed before moving out there.
I really like living where I do now. It felt like home as soon as we came here, and we are not moving despite me most likely starting a new job based 160 miles away in the next few weeks.

I suspect that Tino is Marvin Hagler, Guildford is Murray Walker and, given that he worked for the po-lice, DAVE is Wayne Couzens.

We're now allowed to order a drink at a bar and consume beverages standing up at the bar. Up until today you had to take your drink back to a table.
However, actually leaning on the bar (or slouching) whilst drinking is still strictly forbidden.

Got to keep up standards.
I used to travel to Salt Lake City on a fairly regular basis. They had some odd bylaws on alcohol, like not being able to have 2 glasses in front of you (but you could get a pitcher of beer)

I remember when I was a kid watching a TV play about two old gits whose daily entertainment consisted of going over the obits and scoring points based on if the deaths had occurred 'suddenly' or 'peacefully'.
