England are moving the ball and making headway but the Wales defence out wide has been good on the scramble. North using his experience well, plus Adams and Williams are excellent positionally.

Think they need a bit more than that, they look like they have been training in Weatherspoons.

Commentary team still saying “he’s knocked it on...... maybe” and laughing.
For clarity the LRZ “knock on” wasn’t a knock on as it didn’t go forward to another player or onto the ground.
Surprisingly the refs in charge know the laws of the game

Daly!!! Utterly useless! Him...Farrell & Youngs should be nowhere this team based off the year or so! They have been tripe the entire time

Daly has never had a poor game like this. And he is one of the only players trying to attack. But it is time to get him off (the pitch).

If Englands kicking mentality wasnt clear for everyone to see before hand...that right then shows why its dire watching us atm!

Daly butchered that ball to may as well. Need to change things up.

It did. He knocked it forward so he has to catch it before it hits the ground or another player. Re-read the law carefully.tigertattie wrote:Commentary team still saying “he’s knocked it on...... maybe” and laughing.

Yes it was - read the actual laws as written not what people think they say ... he knocked it forwards with his hand and didn't regather it ...

And again....its like watching a school outfit play Rugby for the 1st time!!! How on earth do they not know the basics of the game. Its shocking how many penalities they give away every single game.

George North has been superb in defence from 13.
Once again England are building pressure quickly when they go through phases.

Correct. It went backwards off his leg. No knock-on and a fair try.
All four qualified officials thought it was a try, not one thought it was a knock-on. Strange, eh?

Youngs is so much better when he doesn't pass!
England the better side this half, we should go on to win this.

Show me the law that says the player has to regather it. You can’t as it doesn’t exist.
It is NOT a knock on until it hits another player or the ground. He knocked it forward but then it hit himself and the ball went backwards to ground (not forwards) therefore it is not a knock on

You miss the point where he knocked on was several steps ahead of slade making contact though. Easy mistake to make.

Could not be more spot on that Duty! Hence its so frustrating seeing them play the way they do...a refusal to go through the phases

And that was a vintage Youngs sneaky try. He has always had that eye for a gap, but haven't seen it much lately.

Controversial opinion here but I think he's played well today. Good battle between him and Hardy.
