Was that Newcastle v Leicester? Saw they won.
The weather here was unseasonably balmy on the weekend. I had a great night out on Saturday... a mini pub crawl of sorts (3 beers and a whisky over 4-5 hours) starting at a lovely establishment called The Lord Nelson. Then ended up at Barangaroo which has a great vibe about it.
For Mother's Day, got Mum some nice flowers then we headed off to Brookvale to watch Manly v Warriors. Non-stop fun and laughs all afternoon. Some seriously funny fans there. The cheergirls were standing next to us in the stands. They barely had clothes on. Great result too... for us.
Here's a bit of it here... some great tries in the second half.
- Spoiler:
It was also Turbo's 100th game and the '10th anniversary' of the 2011 GF win. Those players stood out on the field for some applause then walked right by us in the stands. All fist name chat like old buddies. Lyon, Menzies, "Robbo", Stewart bros, Brent Kite, George Rose, "Choc" Watmough.
At the end of the match we hung around the fence and kept up the applause. I said "Well played Kieran!" He (Foran) came right up to me and said "thanks a lot, mate!" Thumbs up. Had a feeling he needed some positive affirmation even though he set up a few tries. It's all about confidence I guess and it was good to communicate with them all on a personal level.

Mate, you really need a holiday. Like all of us.
Are things getting a little better? I see some overseas travel might not be as difficult as before.
Bit of a closed shop here internationally (if you want to get back home again) but I'm thinking of going on another road trip down the coast soon.

Galtova's booked a holiday to Houston in September. Surprised it took her this long as covid rules don't apply to her. Hopefully we're allowed into the States and back into the UK and don't spend the fortnight queueing at passport control.

C*nt update - I've added one more to my list that I can't believe I forgot (not Jackman, that c*nt is already on there). Up to 18 names.
Going to stop now though as I'm getting progressively angrier as the hours pass.

I'm sticking on 18 although I have grouped a family of 3 together as one selection so could argue I have picked 20.
I admire you being able to stick to 10, riCKo. You're a better man than me.

Morning Rick and Galts. How's it going for you both?
Has to be either the Kardashians/Jenners (far too many of them!), the Trumps (including Kushner) or the Glazers.

Nope. Kardashians are too obvious, same for Don and his crew (politicians are banned as well) and I don't follow a professional football team so the Glazer's don't irritate me enough.
You'll find out when I have to justify it.

Including a mighty six which would fly onto a neighbouring pitch and crack michaels on the head, knocking him off his tractor and spilling his beer.

Knowing michaels, he wouldn't spill a drop. Break his arm, but the beer remained intact.

It's a Norman Collier faulty microphone reference. Not funny, but I thought Jules would get it and for that reason alone, it's a shame he's dead.
