Never mind Young's is on
Williams was doing what he always does, fishing for cards and penalties, Arundel fell for it hook line and sinker.

Plus England players looking brittle which isn't very encouraging

Worst half of rugby between two six nations sides Ive seen in years. Both teams totally disorganised.

That's about 4 or 5 pens in the red zone now - time for a yellow?

Cripe,
I go outside to cut the grass, figuring I can catch up with all the first half tries later on this afternoon, and what do I see when I come in? It's halftime and England are playing another stinker.
Where is Malins when we need him?

What was the call on that? From the stands, it looked like Sanjay called a mark from a legit kick, took it quickly and therefore Arundell's tackle was fine. Was there a penalty on the kick?

I think you have to be 10m from a mark?

That's far too progressive. Who's the next oldest EQ scrumhalf in the prem?

Fair play to Durders, he's putting a positive spin on it but England need to score a few tries now

Fair play to the ref for not forgetting the yellow warning at half time

Not a good sign for Lake, I guess Dee could be first choice as it stands. Rubbish game so far, both look rusty. Game won/lost at the lineout drive so far.

Now the ref is starting to guess at the scrum though ... that was far from clear, probably should have reset

Now's about the time for the ref to ping every English scrum and for England to go to pot based on the script ...

Don't give a pass to Arundell all game then sub him off. Nice.

This is hopeless but all comes of the ref being clueless at the scrum ....

That was a very dangerous attempt at - something - by Steward. Could easily have been a red. Jeez.

Poor by Steward, he can do much better than that.

Re: England - the build-up and winning the World Cup at a canter
How is that a yellow card???? Its an English pen if anything.....the Welsh TH completely folds making Genge lunge forward. Even if he thinks Genge is at fault....a yellow????
Steward compounding an awful game with a yellow (should be more)....offers nothing but ability to catch. Too slow....too ponderous.
Pretty dire performance yet again against a not great Wales side.

So can we all agree steward's ref against Ireland was a red now?

As I said ref has no clue at the scrum - and then to give a yellow because he's clueless is ridiculous ... and it all went even more badly wrong after that decision ...
