It is evening out if the neverending onslaught of Saffa complaints on various forums since the Bismarck du Plessis sending off are anything to go by.

I thought if you award a penalty try you have to yellow card the guilty party. Romania still have 15 players on the pitch (not that it’s helping much)

Mistakes like that may well stop him being picked for the bigger games, especially with Williams showing up so well on the wing this game.

Was surprised to learn South Africa have never scored 100 points in a RWC game. NZ have done it three times, England twice, and Australia the once (but the biggest of the six with 142 points over Namibia in 2003).

The draw's been really harsh on Romania. If Spain hadn't got points deducted during qualification, then Spain would be playing now and Romania would be where Portugal are (in terms of grouping, not geography).

The look Rupanu gave le Roux after he'd scored was priceless.

Two high tackles in two minutes from Fiji, they need to watch that. 3-0 Australia.

I think deliberately sitting back and playing defence is patronising and an even bigger sign of disrespect.

James Slipper at tighthead is a big call. Been out injured for over a month and don't think he has played 3 before for Oz. Fiji have a decent scrum so could be interesting.

Aus are frequently offside, but if Brace doesn't call it then they'll keep doing it. Up to Fiji to adjust.

Don't think Carter will be running it back into heavy traffic to many more times!

That’s a pretty awful call from Brace and the TMO if you ask me. Arnold may not have been playing the ball, but he was on the ground and interfering with play. If he’d tackled a player from that position it would have been a penalty to Fiji.

I'm in absolute shock. This can't be happening to Fiji again.

So playing the tackled player when you are lying on the ground is fine? As long as you are wearing gold that is.

And that’s inconsistent. White wasn’t bent at the hip, so the mitigation of a falling player shouldn’t apply.. Low degree of danger but direct head contact. Surely by the Laws as applied to Curry that’s a yellow?

No clear release. It's a Fiji penalty all day long. Horrendous officiating for that decision.

White is lucky that's only a penalty as well, no attempt to get low into that tackle.

Fiji need to sort out their calling - that should have been Radradra’s, but the full back came in

Not often you can say that if you combine Fiji's place-kicking with SA's running game you'd have quite a team.

Could be a case for Radradra touching the ball before the quick throw too. Don't think the laws have been changed to say that stops their ability to take a quick one?

Show me where “not a lot in that” is part of the head contact protocol? There was head contact. There was foul play. It was a low degree of danger.

Either World Rugby need to ensure that the refs apply their protocol, or they need to change it. The current state is unsustainable.

Don't see how rubbing someone's nose in it is OK when the game is long since over.

Normally you let the person coming from deep take it as they have more momentum and a better view.

It looked like over the shoulder on a player that was dropping.

There have been some contentious pens and cards in this WC but that was not one of them.

Aus made a fast start but they don’t quite look at the races. Fiji seem full of life and are controlling the game better.

Stop the clock, Brace has called an offside against Australia!

Fiji has really been dictating the pace of play in the second quarter. Would be great to see them keep it up.
