Merry Christmas to you as well. You wee f*cking radge.
I celebrated the festive period by falling down a hole that Scottish Gas Networks has dug at the end of our drive and failed to cover properly. If only I knew a decent lawyer.
Isn't Mrs Superfly a decent lawyer?

Morning all, afternoon PJ.
Bit of an announcement to make, as the weather is compliant I've decided to give the cargo shorts their first run-out of the year. Will let you know how it goes.

Update:
Wasn't the success I'd hoped it would be. Was admiring my magnificent legs reflected by the flats next door to ours when I realised that, not only are my fleece and shorts are exactly the same colour, but my socks and shoes are too when seen from a distance - I look like an extra in an 80s kids' sci-fi tv show. I was understandably glum for the duration of the visit to the playground, though I did cheer up when I watched a smaller kid having his sand castle destroyed by a bigger kid.

Spent an inordinate amount of time on 4 which was bloody good. Think it might've been chatting about it that resulted in Julius banning me. Maybe it was Far Cry.

They have Jason Tindall on the staff. Winning the premier league, champions league, snooker world championship and solving the Ukraine war isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

I saw your post early this morning... must have been about half an hour after you posted it. Although I have no idea whether his selection for England is in the realms of possibilities, I take your word with high regard, GB. I just get a good vibe about him... so he's surely worth a shot.
Sad news about Derek Underwood. Saw him play once or twice towards the end of his international career. He seemed rather inconspicuous on the field compared to say, Derek Randall but I seem to remember him bagging a few and silencing the rowdy Hill at the SCG. Deadly indeed but also a highly skilled competitor.
Also more bad news for Michael Slater today. He's in even deeper trouble now for stalking, etc. Broke down in court today as bail was refused.

Yes, I agree. It's just a pity he got caught.
He needs to learn how to break windows without cutting himself. Also avoid setting off alarms. That would be a good start, I feel.
Proper stalking demands special attention to such details and he's obviously falling short at the moment.

I took the Northern line yesterday. I didn't need to, and in fact it made it a significantly longer journey than necessary, but I did it in the hope of meeting someone with a flat cap, a lantern and some feral children.
Imagine my disgust when most people had smart phones, proper trousers and their own teeth.
