Whilst Beachfront Brawl is one 6CWF's flagship events; this year's show is certainly designed to set the scene for Born in Fire season. The belief and hope is that at least two out of the four "main events" will be locked and loaded coming out of Saudi Arabia.

Eddy Kent and Miss Jessica arrived together in Saudi Arabia, but Rex Adamson was nowhere to be seen. He was then seen arriving on a different flight, accompanied by none other than former 6CW Champ and 6CW Tag Champ Jackson Jackson. Jackson was preventing the media asking Rex any questions, Rex has maintained full radio silence since Proving Grounds two weeks ago.

We are live at the eleventh addition of Beachfront Brawl and will be bring you all the backstage goings on from the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. 60k plus are expected into this incredible arena and 6CWF is anticipating a huge show that will set the scene for Born in Fire.

Some early notes:

*Despite Miss Jessica's proclamations; Rex Adamson did indeed travel separately to Genesis and arrived with former 6CW World Champion, Jackson Jackson. There is no word on whether Jackson is returning to the fold but he is part of the Adamson family so it could just be a support system. We still aren't sure what was on the disk that Rex watched last week at Proving Grounds but that is expected to play a part in tonight's event.

*Eddy Kent and Miss Jessica have been leading a number of "fan rallies" here in Saudi. Jessica has really taken to the role of "Spokesperson" for Genesis and 6CWF Officials are extremely happy with the work that she and Kent are doing.

*There was an altercation backstage about half an hour ago between Dicey Reilly and Daniel Reilly. It is unknown whether this was a "work" or legit. They feuded back at Night of Glory but sources close to the scene said words were exchanged before "Punches were thrown". GazzyD and Geoff Steel were amongst those who broke up the melee. We will have more on it as we have it.

*The main event of tonight's show is planned to be a "rollercoaster of emotions". The idea behind the match was that 6CWF could jam-pack it full of talent and storylines so that it would be almost impossible for fans and media to predict what is going to happen. There are many storylines in the company right now in which a "turn" may happen but officials want to keep you guessing right up to the point where they pull the trigger.

*As for the EWF Championship match. 6CWF sees Acer, Harris and Reilly as top talents and all three are capable of carrying a world title. We know there have been calls for all three to win tonight but a final decision was reached late last night. We know the EWF's shelf life is limited and 6CWF has a major storyline planned for the world championships but it will be presented as a legitimate accolade and whoever wins will be placed on the same level as the other world champions within the company.

The live crowd was majorly into Diego Romero. It is clear that 6CWF's gamble to bring him in is paying off already. Many of the younger fans are sporting his merchandise and his in-ring style is completely unique.

As for the vignettes playing; this is all part of a storyline that was designed upon Romero's signing with the company. The company signed a double deal and the man in the VTs is the second part of that contract. The idea is that these Lucha talents will bring the best out of one another and sell them to the audience. 6CWF has never had many "Lucha" talents but they are very confident these two men can create something highly engaging.

Dicey Reilly received a raucous reception when he appeared on screen during the intro to the PPV. Dicey is seen as one of the "go to guys" for talent and staff alike. 6CWF & VIP Promotions view him as indispensable and that is a big reason behind the European Championship run and the "£1 million" for 10 defences.

Early talks have already taken place for Dicey to have major roles at both "Born in Fire" and next year's "Night of Glory" event. Given it will be the tenth edition of Night of Glory we can expect Dicey to play a massive role in that show.

The subtle inclusion of the Acer snub on JJ Johnson & The Saint will not have gone unnoticed either. This is a storyline that wasn't originally planned by the company but they feel gold practically felt into their hands with the level of Acer's performances both inside and outside of the ring.

The vignette that aired just before the European Championship match was an introduction to the mindset of Angus Plague. 6CWF has major plans in place for the new signing and expect him to achieve great things, hence pushing him straight into the Perfect Jack-Dicey Reilly storyline.

Angus Plague's in-ring debut will happen in the coming weeks and he is expected to work a program into Born in Fire that will establish him as a legit threat to the rest of the roster.

The idea to put the strap on PJ was not a cut and dry one but considering what 6CWF has planned for Dicey Reilly it was considered necessary for him to drop the belt. Jack's work has impressed many since the turn and officials have been full of praise for the way he handled the botched Exodus storyline. Jack is expected to move into a new program for Born in Fire season but the Angus Plague combination will continue, at least for the time being.

6CWF may choose to revisit the Dicey-PJ-Plague storyline but not in the short term. It was imperative to make Dicey look strong in defeat (lasting so long in the submission and not tapping out) in order to establish him for the match they have planned for Born in Fire. They will sell the knee injury (it is a work) and it is unlikely he will wrestle until close to the November PPV in order to heal up and have him primed for the big event.

The appearance of Geoff Steel on the big screens garnered a huge response from the live crowd. Steel is one of 6CWF's "leading lights" in the current era and the decision to strap the Xtreme division to his back was made because of the trust officials have in him to deliver each and every time he steps into the ring.

The brief staredown with Dicey Reilly was not accidental and is the third time in recent months that 6CWF have put both men on screen together. Given that Steel was also involved in breaking up the Dicey-Daniel Reilly altercation before the show would also point to that being a work. It will be interesting to see how that develops going forward.

The Geoff Steel title defence may have been seen by many as a "banker" but 6CWF have been impressed with the work of both Masters & Phillips in recent weeks. But the company is unlikely to pull the trigger on Steel dropping his belt in the short term because of his marketability as the "Face of Xtreme". VIP Promotions see Steel at the forefront of this division as a real selling point especially considering Amazon's reluctance to greenlight the return of Xtreme. Steel is one of the company's top merch sellers and they believe he brings a level of "believability" to a division that can sometimes become outlandish and overly graphic.

6CWF's "Xtreme" division is unlikely to ever resemble the kind of gratuitous violence you see in backyard promotions but they want to portray something that the fans can invest in.

The same token goes for the ending to the European Championship match. The company loves the use of submission finishes and believes there have been far too few in history. It is a legit and believable way of ending a contest in the same vain as what we see in MMA on a weekly basis. 6CWF understands there has to be an element of "make believe" for sports entertainment purposes but they want the product to be as realistic as possible.

6CWF is playing the "long game" with the Edward Plague return. That is due in large part to the injuries sustained by Plague during his run. After battling in Cage matches, Hell in a Cell, Inferno and the Last Rites contest with Blue Dragon he was pretty banged up. Given Plague's appeal and "supernatural" tendencies the company is happy to they can build a story around him and Gazzy without the need for physical altercations between the two. Gazzy is booked for a "major" match at Born in Fire but his opponent will not be Edward Plague. It is expected to be the back end of 2024 and early 2025 when they delve into the physical side of the feud.

Uryu's involvement in the Gazzy-Plague story will be intermittent. 6CWF isn't willing to cut Uryu out of the picture due to his starring role throughout but they also want to explore some new avenues for him...hence the growing animosity between Ishida and Chris Patricks. The company like the balance between the two characters and believe they can tell a very compelling storyline.

Uryu & Gazzy are also expected for some "wow" moments in tonight's main event. The company booked them for that reason knowing that they are two talents who can create some viral moments.

The idea behind 6CWF announcing the Rex Adamson-Liam Wood match for the 19th September Aftermath show is to build even more intrigue as to what will happen inside the Elimination Chamber later tonight. We reported a couple of weeks ago how there had been a major rewrite to plans for Born in Fire and it is likely we will get some idea of where they are heading once Beachfront Brawl concludes.

Wood is "main event" and 6CWF sees him in marquee positions at both "Born in Fire" and "Night of Glory" but his path to both of those events will "not be plain sailing" according to reports.

6CWF was expecting backlash from the decision to take the European Championship off Dicey Reilly and they have not been disappointed. The live crowd's boos were off the chart when the decision was announced and now "#Bulls*it decision" and "#DiceyDeservesTheMil" are trending online. Officials are fully aware of Dicey's popularity and again it has to be noted that the decision was made in order to move Dicey forward into a new program for Born in Fire.

That being said it will be interesting to see if 6CWF acknowledges the fan anger on live television going forward. A resurgent Dicey Reilly with a chip on his shoulder is presented as "Stone Cold in essence" from one of our sources and could be a massive money spinner for the company.

The triple threat for the EWF Championship saw all three men receive a standing ovation in Gorilla upon their return. It was an "instant classic" with many positioning it as the "match of the year so far".

The decision to put the belt on Reilly was finalised last night, as we reported earlier, but both Harris and Acer had major support. The final decision was made in light of the direction the company wants to take heading into Born in Fire. Acer and Harris both have plans heading into the huge event and the company felt the EWF Championship suited the storyline of Reilly attempting to walk away from 6CWF with a world title.

It is worth noting that Scott Harris' injury was legit and he is receiving incredible praise for his professionalism and toughness to see the contest through. Acer's knee landed right on Harris' face and he has already been taken to a nearby hospital. His right eye was completely shut and his nose 100% broken. 6CWF will monitor the situation and hope Harris won't be ruled out long term but he will definitely need some healing up.

Acer was receiving rave reviews for the way he is portraying his character. His work has been exemplary since returning to the company and it is well noted that nobody quite expected him to be stealing the show in the manner that he is. There was talk of putting the world title on him and there would have been no complaints on that but a source told us "This story arc is barely halfway through....enjoy the descent into madness". It seems that Acer's role at Born in Fire is set to be a major one and losing tonight was paramount to reaching the destination.
