SURREY VS DURHAM VITALITY BLAST QUARTER FINAL 2024

Surrey have named a 13 man squad for the vitality blast quarter final against Durham on September 3rd at the kia oval.
Surrey will be without the four England players Gus Atkinson, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Pope and Jamie Smith.
Jason Roy is at the cpl and will play no more for surrey this year.
There is no place in the squad for Josh Blake, Matt Dunn, Ben Geddes or Ryan Patel
The game is being shown on the sky sports cricket channel

Really not happy with this squad, four of the above as we stated before should be nowhere near the squad let the team. honestly can't believe that Blake has been treated like this after the one day cup campaign.
Lawes and Worrall must likely to be on drink duties but i wouldn't mind most of them.

Cheers, JimBob. Agree with you on the two likely to miss out although Steel wouldn't be in my eleven. Bowling looks decent and provides options. Batting far less so.

All those bowling options, yet Jordan bowled himself for maximum overs! Astonishing, but at least we made it to finals day with some good batting from Sam C and Sibley

Frankie bowled really well last night and was my MotM (Sky understandably gave it to Sibley). Put Durham on the backfoot from the start although Jordan and Burns helped them in their efforts to catch up.

Sensible batting and good partnership between Sibley and Sam which achieved the win. A target no more than 165 is right up Sibley's street.

seen a tweet that Blake was not allowed to play because he didn't play a group game seems a rather daft rule
