Leota was one short bum chunky mo fo of a hooker mate, would have been a great shout, I had completely forgotten about him.
Big old backline you got there hon, you going for another big winger? I was looking at 3 pretty big wingers before settling on Small!!!

Flatley played most of his club rugby at 10, but won most of his international caps at 12 I believe.

Flatley is hard.
He played fly-half then he also played centre a good amount of times in a row, benchwise where did he fit in when he usually came off it?

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
You see bear its a bit difficult I know - hence why I was going for that scrum half
ok heres my next picks . .
TIGHTHEAD: I drink and eat his his restaurant and he's a legend in the Basque country where they sing songs about the man, one for the most formidable props to play the game, Jason Leonard stating he was the hardest prop HE had EVER played against. Capable of playing tight and loose plus hooker, and anyone want their scrotums ripped off?)
I give you: PASCAL ONDARTS!!!!
WINGER: As if my other winger isn't big and fast enough already, to help keep that balance I give you the juggernaut and tackle machine that is going to make my 11 & 14 a scary attacking force - Inga the Winger: VA'AIGA TUIGAMALA
SCRUM HALF: I have had my scrum half choice vetoed by Bear - which is a bit gutting considering he's a utility player so my new choice is the awesome no introduction needed: BYRON KELLEHER
CENTER: to follow shortly . . . .

He's a scrum half. Go to the Lions tour pages on wiki for the tours he went on and I think he is listed as a scrum half on all of them.

Yeah I know Pete, but I have been told no he's a winger !
anyway Kelleher is a top draw player . . . and am so happy i got inga teh winger and Pascal Ondarts though, been drinking in his bar man, many times! you get to meet loads of players in there, all the biarritz guys plus the away teams normally! The food is amazing there as well, although I doubt many people complain with him behind the bar

my center choice is MIKE CATT - although Bear he has played in a little in other positions so I assume like Healey you might decide he can't play there . . . .

Ondarts did a job on lots of people he was an absolute animal, aggressive and a powerhouse. He scared the S H I T out of Jason Leonard so that says something and it was in his debut match that Buck got his nuts ripped off lol am saying nothing . . .
quote:
Photographs taken of the French front row, Pascal Ondarts, Laurent Seigne and Louis Armary, for the 1990 match against New Zealand appeared to show that they had bleeding cuts to the nose. Nothing noteworthy in that, except that the photographs were taken before the game. It is claimed that in an attempt to wind themselves up they had butted one another
LEONARD: The most bruising was Pascal Ondarts. When we play the French I know I'm going to be involved in a torrid, bloody battle. It's almost like a scene from Gladiator, with bodies strewn everywhere and massive brawls going on. Ondarts was physically the toughest tight-head.''
