Re: Furious League
I'm with you on this one. I think Snjieder and Rooney in the same squad and team would work fine.
I would say that I think someone like a Schwienstieger would be my priority, but I wouldn't pass up the chance to sign someone as good as Snjieder

Re: Furious League
I think Man Utd would have to shift 4-3-3 for that to work. Sneijder wont want to sit on the bench, Rooney wont want to sit on the bench and after last season Hernandez wont want to sit on the bench.
Maybe Utd are planning a shift to 4-3-3 with all the wide players they have but I don't think so as CM is their weakest position in the team and they don't have 3 quality CMs

Re: Furious League
We wont Poopie 4-3-3. At times we played 4-5-1 which went to 4-3-3 on the counter but we will stick 4-4-2 most fo the time.
Snjieder will suit Man United. Man United will suit Snjieder.
COME ON
Smarts, since Arsenil moved to 4-3-3 you havent won a trophie. Check It, Check It, its True.

Re: Furious League
Don't even know what bears is. If Man Utd move for Sneijder then obviously Fergie has a plan for him, I'm not convinced they will move for him and think they will go for a player more accustomed to a central midfield position.
The last time Man Utd spent big from Serie A was Juan Sebastien Veron and we know how that turned out.

Re: Furious League
Arshavin has been quite a successful signing IMO with his form only dropping after November 2010 and even after that he popped up with some top goals like against Barcelona. He has scored some great goals since joining Arsenal, remember than one against Utd from about 25yards? And cutting in from impossible angles he scored a few I think one of them was against Fulham or Bolton. If you look at his form compared to most players in similar positions he has been one of the best in the EPL since joining. The 1st season we had a nightmare with injuries and were struggling, but Arshavin joing in January and was the main reason why we managed to get CL football. Then at another point in time when we had a lot of injuries up front Arshavin led the line for us and we managed to grind out some results.

Greggers I know you are new to the league but those offers are insane.
Defoe = Luis Suarez + £2M?
Jovetic = Luis Suarez + Douglas Costa or Luis Suarez + Cash
I think you must be the only person in this league who thinks Defoe/Jovetic are better than Luis Suarez.

Re: Furious League
TBH Im confused about Jovetic. Everyone goes on about how good he is and I was feeling like people were trying to rip me off yesterday...
Re: Furious League
Ask people their opinions on him then mate? I feel that people rate him as one of the better LWs in the league but I'm not sure how high up there he is.
You have:
Bale, Podolski, Mata competing with him there. Personally I don't rate him as highly as them and I rate N'Zogbia higher than him to but I'm not sure others feel that.
For me he has been injured for over a whole season, didn't kick a ball at all last year and as such I feel he should be rated like that.
Others rate him very highly so I'm probably the odd one out. If I was you I would hold onto him unless you improve your first 11 greatly in a couple of positions as Fulham finished dead last in the previous season and would struggle to attract a player of similar quality from foreigns.

Im sorry but Jovetic has had a serious injury and has not played for how long.....I dont rate him at all, how can you when there is nothing to go on?
But your offers are mad greggers, e.g
Gibson and £2.5 million for Sandro
Gibson and Kuszczak for Martinez
Sorry but you crazy gregger, crazy

Re: Furious League
Gibson is a young CM who along with cash is on Sandro's level. The other offer was based on the offers from Hodgey's league which is what I was basing them on.
Mind you that is a league where Messi went for £51 million
TBH as I said I felt insulted by some of the offers yesterday and thought people were trying to take advantage of me as the new guy

Maybe Insulted was a bit too strong, just on how it appeared to me that people immediately wanted me to struggle by removing Jovetic from my side who lets be honest is one of the few decent players I have
Re: Furious League
You have some decent players, but you need to make sure you keep and sell the right ones.
Your best players are
Marchena,
Donavon,
Jovetic,
Defoe

Thats just my opinion. But I won't try to rip you off as I'm not interested in your players and the Jovetic bid I made if I was you I would have rejected. But I was just getting him to trade him with other managers, would never have played for me.

Re: Furious League
Think he will help out defence out tbh as long as he can stay fit.
Bruce is certainly trying to buy abit of depth, he's bought loads. John O'Shea is having a medical as well. Gibson was the one who was well up for joining us and he's now stalling.
Almost have a full team of signings and although nothing world class most have Premier League experience and some handy youths.

Re: Furious League
Tbh i dont know why Arsene Wenger does tell Fabregas to do one to Barca for 40m + 20m from Nasri = 60m which could bring in around 6 quality players for the price of 2 which sounds better to me.
Gervinho
M'Vila
2 Wingers or 1 Winger + 1 Striker (depends on Gervinho position)
A Central AM
4 decent defenders
So your looking at around 9 players for Arsene to bring in and i think 60m could do it.

I think Arsene would sell Fabregas for £40M if Barcelona offerred that Andy. Thats not the issue, the issue is Barcelona are trying to get him on the cheap at the moment. If they had already bid £40M I think he would be a Barcelona player by now.

Re: Furious League
I hate coming on when everyone is gone and the banter is finished, re-cap of the day.
Nick you've lost all protection for your girl when you've said things about our mums, this leauge has no limits everything goes and you're the first to say something about someones mum. So suck it up bruv and take it lime a man, ok how about your girls sister?
Won't be on Blops tonight, going to referee Football I normally play.
Rooney for me is best playing in the hole, same as Sneijder but he is capable of playing as a main striker we can switch tactics and formations depending on who we playing. We need a proper CM as last season opposition dealt with our midfield like it's not there. We can accomdate both Rooney and Sneijdet.
Like my main man Afro said, Scweinsteiger is the man I wish we could get him as he would be my first choice even though he looks like a Nazi I would love to have him, proper player runs midfields I could big him up all day.
Andy sorry mate, it's the rules and we got Kumquat (including myself) who would moan and cry and want me to bend rules for them. It may have seemed rude saying no like that but I had to type it quickly because I was being watched.
Peace, love and unity these are the lyrics of V.I.V.A!!! Brap can't wait for these dreaded two weeks to finish, can someone post my injuries on Stoke page I'm assuming we got matches.
Sorry Nick, I may have took it to far but please take it as a compliment.

Re: Furious League
Smarts you need a top class operator in midfield, Wilshere and Ramsey will be bad boys for life but in a few years.
Brown when fit and playing is a very good defender, I remember when he murked a peak Henry. I don't want O'Shea to go.
Question for tomorrow: Who was better in Premierleauge, Henry or Ronaldo?
For me it has to be Henry best player, people quickly forget how great he was. Someone was murking Henry today saying there's 10 better strikers then him which got me thinking you must he dizzy blud.
Now for real I'm going.

Ronaldo is a sick player to Viva. Hard to pull the two apart. I know we need a new midfielder but I don't know who we could bring in. Yaya Toure is a tank, we should have signed him when we had the chance.

Morning.
I'll get my tactics around 6ish as I can't do them now, thanks Smarts for posting my injuries
Nadeems depends what you prefer, if you like arcade easy funy games to play with friends go for Virtua Tennis but if you want more of a challenege and a game that represents Tennis the most then go for Top Spin it is a lot more harder. I think Top Spin also has Online check it on Wiki but like I said it depends on what you prefer, I find Virtua very easy.

I picked the best part out below, lol's
Charlie Adam joins Liverpool's legion of weirdos
Ignoring, for the time being, Liverpool's ridiculous stockpiling of international centre midfielders as if they're the scarcest of commodities in planet football, it would appear that Kenny Dalglish is embarking on a policy of assembling a team to really frighten opponents… with their physical weirdness.
Not content with having Uncle Fester in goal, there's Martin Skrtel sporting a Travis Bickle haircut and a biker attitude in defence, while Glen Johnson with dreadlocks is a mean Predator and Paul Konchesky looks – and plays – like a corpse. (The less said about Jamie Carragher's shrieking the better.)
Then there's quite possibly the most hideous midfield in world football, with Dirk Kuyt shuffling down the flank like Sloth from 'The Goonies', Raul Meireles inked from head to toe like a goth, the forehead-less Steven Gerrard running all over the pitch, Alberto 'Vampire' Aquilani, Jonjo Shelvey flashing his junk to anyone that passes by, Luis Suarez chewing his way down the left flank with his humungous teeth, Jay Spearing scurrying about with his shrunken head, and there's Christian Poulsen, who might not be all that physically unappealing but his football is absolutely disgusting.
Now Dalglish has added to his legion of the weird with Charlie Adam, a man whose teeth could double up as a bottle opener, which will come in handy for Andy Carroll, who has returned from his holidays with a hobo beard and a beer belly.
If you've got a season ticket at Anfield, I'd advise never taking a child along with you as they're likely to have nightmares for the rest of their days having seen such a motley bunch of downright ugliness up close and personal.
