T20 players: Tremlett & Ramps

Forgive me if I'm just behind the times here, but why:

1/ isn't Tremlett playing T20 for us if he's relieved of England limited over duties? and
2/ isn't Ramps - has he officially retired from one-day cricket?

Subject to the answers to the above, I reckon they both could do a job for us in the shorter game, thought maybe Ramps might struggle to get around as he needs to in the field in T20...

simon i can only assume that in the case of ramps they are easing him in because of his knee injury.

Ramps wants to play in all formats of the game but has been quoted as saying that at present he doesn't feel he has enough speed for the T20s due to his knee injury.

As it happens I am a Surrey supporter, although I will admit that Ramps is my favourite player.

I'm sure a few of us will be commenting and complaining during and after tomorrow's game ....

In the case of Tremlett I think he leaks to many runs in T20 a little bit down the same lines as Meaker. Having said that Meaker keeps playing so I'm not sure why Tremmers isn't. For me the five bowlers should be Batty, Ansari, Arafat, nannes and De Bruyn/ H-B
