First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the David Pocock photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

He'll definietly have his pic up during the world cup.

Munsty - nice one. I saw a world cup advert on S4C yesterday and that got me all excited for the world cup. Can't wait till Friday now.

Hound - laughing aye, I think perhaps it might be.

Kings and Queens is on my iPod but not a playlist.

Don't mention Scrum V in here either. Dreamer will be cross after Jiffy and Rob Jones said they wouldn't pick Stephen Jones.

That's nothing Munsty! Suffices to say that that isn't the first time I've viewed that photo. My over curious other half was going through my iPhone and came across it (nothing dodgy I hasten to add, I was referencing it an argument). Made for an interesting conversation.

It's a pity that. Same for Geth. I do look on Welshrugbypics for the training pics to see who's running. Ryan was the only one of the three who looks like he has. It's been announced he's probably fit anyway.

Hopefully my Welsh top arrives tomorrow (WC one). Shame I can't wear it to Marseille on Wednesday.

I still think it's ridiculous we've taken Geth. He's had no game time since January and there's no guarantee he'll get fit for any of the matches.

All calf injuries though, wish I knew what they did at Welsh training that resulted in so many of them.

Nice one on getting the shirt Rev, I really like this Welsh WC top.

Glas,
Thanks for that pal. We will defo make the SF now. Have you ever been roysh about anything besides sheep? And in fairness -. you know yer sheep. OK Ale

Willy, Parrise is a ride. True enough. But he's Italian. That doesn't count. He would spend so much time in front of the mirror, preening himself, he'd have no time for me.

Leo would make me tea and we'd talk rugby. I love Leo.

There is that Willy. But Leo would take me for pints and I know he wouldn't shirk at the price of a package of Tayto. Cheese & Onion obviously.

And I know this may sound harsh... But. He is not a Winner. I only play with Winners. Crass, I know. But that's the kind of hairpin I am.

That's a case of the Ian Rush though isn't it. A better player than the others in the team that lead people to say "if only he could have played at a World Cup" etc. But perhaps being a big fish in a small pool suits them. Perhaps they wouldn't get on with the other big fish. I'd take Heaslip and an in form Beattie given the choice.

Normally it's sort of dull watching New Zealand in the pool stages. New Zealand versus France is always a fun game though.

Will start with a sly comment that I am in fact a little pissssssed up now but flock it, its all fun and games till someone looses an eye.

Now with the deepest sincerity, I thank you all on here for the congratulations on my goodluck today. Ye have no idea how close I came to losing my job today. I've been stressed out over this for two weeks and only really talked to a few people here about it, those people know who they are and I'm forever grateful for it I'd have cracked up without it. Just sums up what we've developed on here and I love you all for it.

Gibbo, loving the bike story,
