England vs Argentina - match thread.
First topic message reminder :
My prediction was England by 10, so hopefully the Argentinians give a good account of themselves.
This will have to be a great match to live up to the one we have just seen.

ooooh boo, poor Argentina
Youngs goes over for a try, don't know how they didn't tackle him there, he looked surprised to get through!

Didn't feel it this side of the mountains, you on the island or in Vancouver itself?

Did you see the sky thing where they asked a load of premiership players what they wanted to be when they were kids? Hartley said an All Black

Re: England vs Argentina - match thread.
You have to feel sorry the Argentina pack. They've made mincemeat out of their England counterparts but their backs aren't able to score any points for all their effort.

dr grey? did you see Paterson's missed conversion right in front of the posts in the Scotland match? if you had you'd have been more nervous still!

Re: England vs Argentina - match thread.
Good try (just he almost didn't get it down within the try area), but they're not out of the woods yet.
Meanwhile is vickery's "commentary" pishing anyone else off?

Does this mean the addition of Hartley and Stevens is making a difference?

England do not deserve a victory here, but Argentina have done it again. They play like demons and after 10 tears of SH competition will be right up there

Re: England vs Argentina - match thread.
Have to say - seeing England being so poor has definitely made me feel a lot better after Scotland's performance last night!
Argentina have done well but again their game plan is extremely limited.

Re: England vs Argentina - match thread.
when you factor in two of Argentina's best players went off injured in the first half, they are playing extremely well.
Feel a bit sad for them that they might loes this match now

Boyo, can't really say Argentina deserve it either. In general a match which should be flushed.Gatts wrote:England do not deserve a victory here, but Argentina have done it again. They play like demons and after 10 tears of SH competition will be right up there

Re: England vs Argentina - match thread.
England really shouldn't keep trying to kick for points at the rate they're going. Or they should bring Flood on. Now is not the time for Wilko to practice his kicking.

As i said earlier it will be a very close match up until the 65-70min mark and England would draw clear.

Argentina missed about 9 kicks at goal, they should be well out of sight. They've lost this game rather than England winning it.
