Union Cane's Prediction League - Season 1

Week Twelve Review
Dirty, cheap shot or opportunistic flash of brilliance?
Ultimately it matters not, the record books show KO4 and Mayweather moves one win away from emulating the great Joe Calzaghe.
Elsewhere there was more great entertainment from Tyson Fury, mixed fortunes for the Smith brothers and a controversial Vegas undercard, but the fight we are all interested in is the battle for the inaugural Union Cane's Prediction League title between coxy0001 and The genius of PBF.
The gauntlet was laid down by coxy0001 with an impressive haul of 12 points, however it wasn't quite enough, the boasts and bravado sounding decidedly hollow now.

It's as though you have this nugget of knowledge, and you are desperate to get it out there somehow, no matter how tenuous the relevance. I often do the same thing myself, but I now realise how confusing it must be for others.

Don't worry Scott, I got your joke. It wasn't that hard to understand.
Union hasn't been himself recently. Think it is since Trussgate.

Would have thought the penny had dropped after that.
That's a shame Sean. You would like it, the women are beautiful. And real as well.
If I had the money to spend a week in NY, I would rather put it on a trip back to Australia. Catch a bit of cricket, do a bit of fishing, down a few Carlton Colds......
NY is too busy for me. I don't like crowds or loud people and am very chlostrophobic. I also seem to have a problem with tall buildings. I was beneath the Shard on Sunday looking up and i went dizzy. Couldn't look up without holding on to a fence.

I do like it but wouldn't say I am a massive fan Sean. I watch international cricket when I can and have been to Lords a couple of times.
I just loved Flintoff sledging Tino Best just before he was bowled. Brilliant moment!

That was funnier than the remark you didn't like Scott. Although the remark was not in itself actually a joke. And no, I really am this unintelligent,I'm afraid. Mentioning accounts being hacked reminds me of Trussman last week, running to the admins because he thought his account was hacked into...because he misunderstood a joke.Wanted to point that out to him when he weighed in yesterday, but as a fellow sufferer ,I do have sympathy for the mentally impaired.

Union, do you already know the fights for next week?
Can you PM me and I will PM you back with my predictions seeing as I have so far been forced to guess without even knowing the fighters.
You and I are friends, be reasonable?
Scott might complain but he doesn't even treat the league with the respect it deserves.

Re: Union Cane's Prediction League - Season 1
This will be my last day posting for a week so I would like to take this opportunity to thank Union for his sterling efforts over the last 12 weeks. A few errors have crept in, especially recently, but I think we can all forgive him. Being metaphocially spanked by Trussman would take anyone out of their stride.
Lets hope, for all our sakes, that Coxy doesn't win, as I don't think t'internet is big enough to contain his ego.
I wish everyone, Coxy excluded, the best of luck for the final round and enjoy the super fight fight over the weekend, Casey v Sassou should be a classic. Some of the others might be quite good as well.
Even to you Rowley, I extend my good luck wishes and the cyberhand of friendship.
Thanks Union.

Thanks for your kind words, and you never know, you are only 13 points off the top so you may come back and find that you only went and won the darn thing.
You never mentioned it...

I wish everyone, Coxy excluded, the best of luck for the final round and enjoy the super fight fight over the weekend, Casey v Sassou should be a classic. Some of the others might be quite good as well.
I hope American customs suspect you of drug smuggling and you end up in jail overnight, making friends with Jerome "Truncheon" Woods
I might tip them off

Lets hope, for all our sakes, that Coxy doesn't win, as I don't think t'internet is big enough to contain his ego.

Even to you Rowley, I extend my good luck wishes and the cyberhand of friendship.
Thanks Union.
Is this an attempt to try and drag Union out of the disposition he has found himself in since being ruined by the big American?

Would you like me to PM you and tell you where I am going? I have a sneaking suspicion people are fed up of me mentioning it.
I am a long shot Union, but you just never know. If one of my draws comes in, I could be in with a shout.

Why are people saying these things, I saw it the other way myself.
Am I deluded?
